Food was absolutely amazing. Service was fast and friendly. Views were amazing!!!!
While my visit may have been late in the season, Phyllis and her crew didn't miss a step in providing an out-of-this-WORLD first "lobstah" experience. If I didn't know better, I'd've thought we were guests at her home. Primo vistas of the Nubble Lighthouse from the upstairs seating (might be from downstairs too, but I'll have to wait to find out NEXT visit...) DEF worth the time to come visit and be treated to a fantastic meal, in a great location, with kewl tunes, being taken care of by an AWESOME group of ppl. Carry on Phyllis!
Prices are overinflated for no other reason than greed. Fish and chips ordered outside window. Double the price of most fish and chip in the local area. Ridiculous seven dollar charge for a Pepsi. Very small portion of haddock, saturated in grease, placed on top of my French fries, which made the entire plate soggy, and disgusting. Definitely was not happy with the lack of care or price.
Fox's never disappoints! Our family always makes it a point to visit at least once during our reunion in York every year. The staff are always friendly and smiling no matter how busy the place is. The food is impeccable. The view is breathtaking no matter which table your seated at (down stairs, up stairs or even out front).

Fox's Lobster House 9-6-25 We had to stop by this Lobster house for the Lobster. The lady that greeted us at the front was very friendly and answered any questions we had about this place as it was our first time there. She stated you want to sit upstairs as the views were much better. The views from upstairs were spectacular with the Ocean and Lighthouse in the background just amazing. They do have an outside Patio for dining which is rather large with shading for all to enjoy that kind of atmosphere. Now let's get to the food. I ordered a bowl of Clam Chowder, and my wife ordered a cup of Lobster Bisque for appitizers. We both ordered the Fox's Favorite Lighthouse Dinner which had 1.5-pound Lobster, Corn on the Cob with Baked Potato. Our soup came out first, it was hot and very tasty, mine was packed with clams. This had to be the best New England Clam Chowder I ever had. In fact, it was so good I did not want to share it with my lovely wife. She stated her Lobster Bisque was fantastic also. The Corn on the Cob and Baked Potato was also good, but the star of the dinner was the Soup and Lobster. Everything was hot, tasty and with the great service provided by Stella we just loved this place, and my bet is you will also. You must stop by here not only for a great dinner but the spectacular views and a visit to the Lighthouse right next door. If I could give this place 6 stars but I will give it 5 stars and a +. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+ Follow Me For More Reviews & Fun. Gulf Coast Terry

Love this place! We had delicious lobster rolls with large chunks of juicy lobster and perfectly cooked calamari! It was a treat to sit outside comfortably with a great view of Nubble Lighthouse.

Not only the very best lobster rolls - but phenomenally great service (I left my glasses there by mistake and after one call they were returned by mail!). Wonderful Cape Neddick Institution staffed by terrific people! Make sure to include it on your Coast o Maine travels!

This was worst lobster role, the worst onion rings, and the most unpalatable fried shrimp I ever had.
The lobster roll had no flavor. Tasted like two day old lobster leftovers with the scrapings of sour cream on top. What a waste of nice lobster to serve it without any flavor.
The onion rings were mediocre.
The shrimp was deplorable. Mealy texture on the inside and soggy batter on the outside. The batter was not even sticking the shrimp well, and was flaking off from the moisture they didn’t pat off the shrimp before frying.
Obviously the only reason these people do well is the location. What a tragedy. Tourists deserve better than being swindled by this place.

No clue how it is inside . Extremely difficult to get a parking spot.
You have got to try the home made blueberry pie with blueberry ice cream. Spectacular!

Overly sweetened blueberry pie was a huge disappointment at $10 for a tiny slice. The food here is mediocre and the prices are outrageously high and the vibe is “take advantage of tourists”. The service at lunchtime right when they opened was unfriendly bordering on hostile which we were willing to put up with IF the food had been amazing but it was not, and lobster and blueberry pie are the two things in Maine that should be pretty universally top-notch.

The host gave us the best table upstairs at the window. Our waitress was so kind and matched my excited energy. We ordered so much and every single thing was great, we were stuffed.
Was visiting Nubble Lighthouse and needed a little snack- so we went to the walk up and order window from Fox. Got the Lobster roll and it was really good- butter and warmed. Overall it was good !
