We were apprehensive when seeing the small menu. But man we’re glad we gave it a try! Got the guacamole/queso and chips, carnitas tacos, beef quesadilla, cheese quesadilla, and Shrimp tacos. All of it was great! And the chipotle aioli was fantastic. Our server was very kind and attentive. We ate outside at a picnic table, so we got to see the cars and people more than the actual atmosphere of the restaurant. We will definitely be back!!
My husband went to place an order for take out because they weren't currently taking orders online and they told him they don't do take out but it clearly says on their website pick up or full service. When my husband said it says on their website they do take out they said well it's wrong.

We love Gauc N Roll! Went there one night for dinner and drinks and had to go back a second night for more drinks. Everyone working there is so nice and it’s a very affordable place on York Beach. Will return again!

Menu seems very limited recently compared to past years, mainly tacos, quesadilla, or dips with chips. We got pork and fish tacos which were very good. Queso dip was okay. Not sure when it will be fixed but online menu is not accurate as of end of July 2024.

This restaurant was just what I needed after a long day on the beach! We got fish tacos and guac and chips. For drinks we just got classic margs! Everything was delicious and the servers and bartenders were incredibly sweet. Can’t wait to be back!

I hate giving one star reviews but this place refused to accommodate dietary restrictions, when they were clearly able to do so. No alternative options given and the host didn’t care. Just visited yesterday and was a waste.
Loved this experience! Family came here twice in short trip to York Beach. We loved the guac so much! Although admittedly short-staffed, the hard work and grin through it attitude of those there came through and we appreciated the honest effort. The tacos and guac/chips were amazing. Will make this a regular stop!

No wings in-stock at 7pm! Has the lobster tacos which basically had NO lobster in them for an outrageous price! Fish tacos had a tiny piece of fish in it! Not worth it!

Overall it was pretty decent. Drinks were great, food was pretty solid. However the atmosphere was severely lacking, hot and humid, sticky tables and just not the vibe we were looking for. Incredibly understaffed so wait time was very long and it wasn't even busy inside. Waitstaff they did have was friendly though. May return again in the future but I'm not likely to seek it out purposely though.
