Uuggghh we used to love this place. Came in with my family and the manager Carlie? is gone. You walk in and it feels completely different. Super dirty. Food was overpriced for its quality. Actually was cold and took forever. Nothing for the kids anymore. The service from the new manager was beyond disappointing. We used to come for bingo and karaoke and just for fun. Most locals won’t touch this place anymore. This restaurant sucks now. Don’t bother. I never write reviews, so that’s how passionate we are about the loss of a good place

We came last year and loved it, but this year the food was even better! We loved our server and hostess, Jo. The grilled chicken sandwich was delicious and the fish and chips was fresh and had the most amazing homemade tartar sauce.

The server we had was great but NOT the haddock tacos it was NOT worth $17.00 at all. The hard shell looked and tasted like the Ortaga hard shell brand. You can see. I expected a better presentation. The sweet jalapeño sauce was good but it was the only flavor I can taste everything else was bland within the taco. The presentation lacked the quality…. I ate them because I was hungry but took a few bites off the last taco. I wanted to tell the server how the tacos were not good but I didn’t want to be rude. Personally I would not order them. The mussels on the other hand were delicious!!

I rarely ever write reviews so you can take this review to the bank! First off, we ordered margaritas that were made without a key ingredient. They attempted to substitute with something else which resulted in our drinks tasting super tarty and overall not great. One of us returned the drink saying that it was undrinkable, and they took it off of our bill and offered us another drink in its place, which was cool. Second, we ordered calamari as an appetizer. When it came to the table, we asked if there was a dipping sauce available to which we did not receive an answer but it seemed like we were understood as the server walked off so we were under the impression that she was going to take care of that; she didn’t. We also had no plates, napkins, or silverware during the appetizer-portion of the meal. About this time, the three waters that we had ordered were nearing empty so a person from my party asked if we could get some more water. Only one out of the three waters we had were refilled, and one of the non-refilled waters was that persons primary drink. Finally the food comes out, we had ordered x2 of the haddock tacos and a white pizza w/chicken. The pizza showed up with a red sauce instead of a white sauce. The tacos showed up on ready-made hard shell taco shells (like you get right out of the package from your local grocery store). They weren’t even heated up or dressed up at all; terrible. We had to ask for silverware, napkins, etc. after the fact. All in all, our experience was not great but the staff was young and seemed to have good energy, just no managerial direction. If you eat here, don’t get the tacos, unless you desire food that you couldn’t make extremely better yourself in 15 minutes or less. A swing and a miss.

So, here I was just walking past checking out the menu when the hostess greeted me with the most warming welcome. I can never forget her words, “the menu is a lot better when you taste it.” I had no regrets there, the food is to die for! The customer service is great and just the way the staff members remain humble no matter the diversity of the customers amazes me! They have great bar specials too!
