Nico was a great server and had a great smile and great personality. She had our food out very quickly. She off refills on our drinks. The food was delicious. I had a chicken bowl that was fantastic, very tasty. My kids got the cheese pizza and said it was very delicious. The inside is very inviting and beautifully decorated cool lights. We will be back in the fall. Thank you for the great experience 😀 💯

Bradley is the kind of bartender who elevates the entire dining experience. He’s attentive without hovering, funny without trying too hard, and kind in a way that feels completely genuine. He strikes that rare balance of being engaging and present, yet never intrusive. Within minutes, you feel like you're talking to an old friend… who just happens to be an expert mixologist.
Honestly, he could have a second career as a stand-up comedian—his wit is that sharp. But it's his warmth and humility that make you want to come back again and again. In a world full of rushed service and scripted smiles, Bradley is a refreshing reminder of what real hospitality looks like.

We just got married in York, ME this past may and had our afterparty here at the Sand Dollar. We had rented out the event space which came with a pool table, foosball table, they took care of all the food and drinks and really made it a great experience. Our bartender was very personable and easy going (especially with our crazy wedding group). 10/10 would recommend.

The food and service was amazing but you have black mold growing in your woman’s bathroom. The bathroom smells very musty.

First of all...it's upstairs. The service was good and suggestions helpful. The lobster cobb salad was delicious.
Love the look of the restaurant, and scenic views. The seating was very comfy and there is an elevator acces for those who are physically challanged. We had the loaded nachos, a margarita pizza, a chicken bacon pizza and the fish n chips. Our drinks were Buck brew, a rum and coke, rum punch and a spicy margarita. The nachos and margarita pizza were good. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was pretty dry and not so good. I did not get any reviews from the fish n chips. I am not a big drinker and usually have to pace myself with one, but we all commented that these drinks seemed lite on the alcohol. The buck brew was not great but drinkable. The spicy margarita was sent back because it was too heavy on the marg mix and not so spicy. We didn't get the greatest vibe from our waitress, but who can say what kind of a day she may have been having.

My family rented an Air BNB above the bar for a long weekend. Decided to stop in after a long day in Portland to watch Sunday night football. We walked in at 6:30 and when we walked into the restaurant we saw 10 people sitting at the bar. The bartender stopped me and said “I’m sorry we are closed”. I asked her what about the 10 people at the bar? She again said we are closed. So I asked if we can just have a drink to take up to our room? Again we were told no. If you are closed lock the door and don’t serve other people. I should have known from other people’s reviews. I’ll never go there again. Plenty of places to go for good food and service.
