Excellent. Excellent. Excellent.
Nice spot next to Long Beach in York Maine. The food isn't over the top but not bad. Regular beach food. Obviously the lobster 🦞 is ridiculously over price but York Maine in June so it makes sense. Staff was good, the beer was good as well. It's nice being able to eat and then walk across the street to our hotel. The scenery is the best part. I do love the views of Long beach. Unfortunately it was raining but still a stunning view. Thanks for the memories.
We sat on the outdoor deck and it was beautiful. The food was delicious too. Highly recommend trying this restaurant.
We used to be able to see the ocean. Now we only see 🪨 rocks
6 lobster raviolis about the size of a dollar bill folded in quarters for $34. I try not to be that guy, but that is almost $6 per. Probably wouldn't go back, but it may be worth a try.
Always yummy. Tequila bloody are great. Cant beat watching the river boats and giant tugs
Over the years we have dined here often and have always had a good experience….until now.
Service was horrendous, server gave me the impression that she was hating life and, frankly, was rude. I wanted to ask a question about ingredients in a dish but felt she’d be pissy about it. I ordered a beer to have with my meal. I could see it on the bar waiting for 20 minutes when she picked it up to bring to me, I signaled her I didn’t want it as my meal was done with. Now I don’t totally blame her, she had a large party that she was getting their desserts, and they had a lot of specifications for their desserts. In order to successfully run a restaurant you need to rely on TEAMWORK!As I watched my beer sitting there getting warm other servers walked by it several times and could have delivered it for her, or the person who appeared to be the front of the house manager/supervisor could have assisted her and delivered the beer instead of chatting with the busboy and kid who sat us. I clearly watch this disaster.
As far as the food….clams weren’t hot and tasted old and reheated, and a few hours later I was vomiting non-stop! My wife’s broiled/baked haddock (menu listed this way which shows no one proof read before printing) was swimming in lemon butter….no need for that much liquid.
Oh and by the way I know what I’m talking about as both my wife and I have worked in food services for more than 45 years.
As I stated earlier we have dined here before but we will never dine here again….you lost customers and by the way not only am I telling this story in this forum but will friends and family NOT to dine here!

Such a wonderful restaurant! We ate there twice while in town. The 1st time we were there a half hr before closing. Told them we would be quick, but we're told to take our time & enjoy. I never felt rushed or like I was a hindrance to them. The wait staff talked to us as they cleaned up & set tables for the next day. We enjoyed talking w/them.
Last night was our last night of vaca & we went back. We both had a full lobster ? . It was so good!! Both nights, the food, service, & drinks were fantastic. We will definitely be back.
You cannot go wrong eating here!!

The service was terrible. Our waitress did not tell us that the fruit cup and English muffin options cost extra. She just rambled on about all of our choices without letting us know some options cost extra. What we thought was going to cost us 11 dollars ended up being 16 dollars. It’s not so much the money but It was very deceptive and we felt taken advantage of. With coffee, tea and an extra 2 small pancakes our breakfast was 64.00 dollars. The food isn’t even good and the service was awful. It really felt terrible to be taken advantage of. We don’t want anyone else to have this happen to them

Can not believe how much they charge for some of the food. $34 for ravioli?? $33 for just a few scallops with pork together?
Wow! Also our waitress had an attitude towards us and others!! Will not be back

Went for the take out yesterday to eat near the ocean. 2 of us ordered the Whole Belly Clam Roll $18 with Onion Rings. Where to start well. $3 upgrade for a handful of Inions was totally ridiculous for like I said a handful (they were tasty) then the Clam Roll oh did I say Whole Belly well we both had basically strips and I counted and had 2 Bellies that you needed a magnifying glass to find it. Clam Chowder $11 was ok nothing k would get again. The Caribbean Salad $14 was out of this world and the dressing I would love to have that! Then $4 for a Soda in a size small cup ????. So basically the amount of money I spent I could have received a much better meal someplace else. The gentleman that served at the window was extremely nice I think he was shocked on much I tipped him big smile and a grateful Thank you. I personally would never ever go back there to eat. Wish I took pictures but I always forget to.
