The airline chicken beat out Gordon Ramsay's Airline chicken! Hands down the best chicken I've ever had!

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at the Tiller Restaurant over the weekend. The food was amazing, I loved the focaccia bread, and the scallops were delicious. I was very appreciative of the hostess and staff. We also had a breakfast there that was wonderful in the morning before. The French toast was superb. We are looking forward to dining here again.

We're do i start. Make sure you ask for market price on lobster so you won't be surprised. Oder short rib with polenta meat was cook well but it was cold by the time it got to my table polenta was very good. Oder Cesar salad was not clean properly. It wasn't a good night. Being there many time before wasn't a problem then.

Our first time there for brunch and it was outstanding. We had a booth facing the ocean and our server Chris was attentive and so nice. Good menu selection- we got the burrito and the Maine Flannel Hash, both were a good size and very tasty! The overall vibe was upscale and relaxing. Will definitely be returning!

We had a delicious brunch. The view and service were fantastic, and I highly recommend it, even if you are not staying at the hotel. Plenty of parking on the hotel property.

As a chef and foodie, I am not easy to satisfy and I don't often find places that hit all the marks. The Tiller brunch was fantastic! Perfect eggs benedict, perfect flannel hash, perfect omelet. Definitely worth the price and we will definitely return!

Food was the issue here... lobster corn chowder was amazing but both of our entrees were incredibly disappointing. The salmon was served on a bed of corn. Honestly, canned corn tastes just as good as what was plopped on this plate. The salmon was fresh and cooked well but had no flavor! The short rib dish was a single piece of meat that was tender but incredibly fatty. The meat and polenta had no flavor again. We expected much better from this caliber of restaurant. Overall, this restaurant is overpriced!

The options for brunch were varied and nice. Everyone at our table (four of us), thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We were lucky to have a table overlooking the ocean...spectacular. I had made the reservation at it was nice to be seated and have the wait staff greet me with my name! When the food arrived, they didn't have to "auction it off", meaning they knew who had ordered which dish, and didn't have to ask. We will definitely be back.

Great view, but breakfast menu does not do a good job describing what you are going to get. The açaí bowl is melted and mixed with yogurt. The French toast is not stuffed with dulce, simply has a few dollops on the plate which is not enough to prevent the toast from being quite dry. Orange juice seems pressed but was sour. Great server. I’d go back but with better expectations.

This was our first time at the Tiller celebrating our anniversary. We got a table for 2 right along the left side window seating with the best view of the cliff and hotel. Tucker greeted us and was very welcoming. Our server, Marc, was very professional and made us feel at home. The cocktails were great and food and dessert superb! Highly recommend the short ribs and prime steak along with the strawberry pistachio cake! Ended the night strolling around the premises. Their was a woman singing outside the restaurant and adirondack chairs outside surrounding a fire pit. The Tiller made for a perfect anniversary celebration. We will be back!

My experience at The Tiller was nothing short of incredible—from my glass of Veuve Clicquot enjoyed from the bar to our oceanfront table overlooking the waves crashing against the cliffs. The setting alone is unforgettable, but the service and food made it exceptional. Our waiter, Freddy, treated us like celebrities—attentive, warm, and genuinely enthusiastic about every course. The standout of the evening was the seasonal starter, a sweet potato hummus served with crudité and house-made bread. It was beautifully balanced and full of fall flavor. For our entrées, we enjoyed two dishes: a perfectly prepared salmon and braised short ribs—both cooked to perfection and elegantly presented. The dessert menu was a creative celebration of the season, with autumn-inspired flavors and subtle nods to Maine's natural bounty. If I had one small critique, it would be the mussels appetizer. A few mussels I tried tasted underdone, and several shells hadn't opened completely, suggesting the dish as a whole was slightly undercooked. Still, it wasn't enough to detract from an otherwise flawless dining experience. Overall, The Tiller delivers a remarkable blend of coastal atmosphere, culinary craftsmanship, and gracious service. I can't wait to return.
