I have been staying at the Bluff for many years, but this year, Fall of 2025, my visit was exceptional. The service was excellent, the food fabulous and well the scenery is second to none. The Bluff keeps adding to my wonderful memories of visiting York Beach.

The best lobster roll we have had yet in the New England states. We like how they would bring the butter and mayonnaise on the side. The French fries were also a winner. Extra good. Clam chowder was so creamy and full of clams. This is how clam chowder is supposed to be. Our cake was over the top decadent. Our top choice in eateries!! A defendant standout.

We had breakfast in the grill and dinner in the pub and both meals were terrific. Would highly recommend.

Service is always excellent - food is also very good - awesome specials - my only complaint is they’re a bit overpriced but otherwise have only positive things to say about this local pub!

Probably one of the worst meals ever. The chicken in the Quesadilla was so hard, it was unedible. I actually had a piece of it get stuck in my throat. It had the sensation of a stuck fish bone. Cauliflower bites were drenched in Thai chili sauce, with no mention of such on the menu. My soda (coke/pepsi?) had no presence of any carbonation at all. But also tasted old and dirty. Took about a 1/2 hour to get our food. Restaurant was not overly busy. There were empty tables.

Great location and ambiance to - doesn’t open until 1130, so we got there a few minutes early and were able to score a table by the windows, overlooking the beach! Food was wonderful and the server was very attentive.

Fantastic location, amazing coastal views, super service and delicious NE style food. Try the Ruben Haddock.

4.5. We reserved a table for 2 ahead of time and were sat on the “grill” side not realizing the pub side was on the other side with a completely different menu. The pub menu is what we looked at online and had more things we like to eat. Fortunately, when we spoke up to our waitress she said we could order from the Pub menu, keep our table, and not have to wait for a table on the other side. This was awesome and appreciated! Our waitress was Pam and she was very attentive and nice. She even recommended a place with live music down the street for us to check out! We got the quesadilla and chicken parm. Both were excellent! Right across from Union Bluff is a beautiful beach. Inside for dining was comfortable and cozy.

Great spot to have drinks with friends and family. They even had trivia the night I went which was fun.
