Custom order ice cream sundaes. Lots of options and combos. Dairy free options. Owners couldn't be kinder. Place is bright, clean and cute. Plenty of outdoor seating. Off season- there is no line.

Best ice cream in the York Beach area. Owners are very nice. The line is usually long but goes fast. Such a large variety of ice cream. It's so creamy and delicious. Try the orange pineapple or rocky road.....yummy!

The Dels frozen slush is NASTY. Not sure what the issue is but it tasted like chemicals so bad. I had to go inside and tell them. I wanted something different but the older man seemed hesitant to exchange for just a small lemon slush. We had gotten a large frozen lemonade.
The flavored soft serves are just syrup mixed with the vanilla soft serve so it seemed a bit too "fake" tasting.
I got 2 kiddie ice creams. The dinosaur one which is blue and I think has chocolate chips. My son had 2 bites. And the banana which lacked flavor.
The original young girl who served us was super sweet and nice. She was the one who actually went and exchanged the frozen lemonade when the older gentleman seemed hesitant. She ended up giving us a larger even though a small would've been enough!
Before I go back I'd opt to try the other shops in the area first. There was only one person in line here compared to lines out the door in other shops.

It was a hot day when we visited Wicked Good Ice cream boarding Short Sands Beach to enjoy some ice cream. Since I can only eat sugar free ice cream I was happy to see the selection of dairy free and sorbet that was available. I loved the out door patio which had offered ample space which included Adirondack chairs under a shady patio. The restaurant is clean indoors and out. Although it was a busy day at Wicked Good service was fast and sufficient. Orders are taken at the inside counter. I ordered a small butter crunch which was creamy and delicious. Parking is limited. We parked at short sands parking lot and walked over. At the time we visited SHORT SANDS beach there wasn't a charge for parking

Our favorite ice cream place in the downtown York Beach area. We like Brown’s/Dunne’s ice cream too but you need to drive to that. Wicked Good lives up to its name with delicious ice cream, generous portions and excellent service with friendly staff. Plus you can take your ice cream and walk to short sands beach and enjoy it there.

With a name like Wiked Good the ice cream better live up to it. It definitely does. The staff is friendly and very efficient. Expect a line but it moves rather quickly, and it's worth the wait. They were located within quick walking distance from our hotel so it was easy to stop by before retiring for the night and bringing a treat back to the room. Check out their website for all the great flavors they have available.

We enjoyed ice cream here during our recent off season visit. This little shop is tucked away behind the arcade on Short Sands. The shop itself is pretty small so I imagine it gets filled quickly during the summer months. While we were there there were a steady steam of people which was surprising for a chilly April evening. But I can see why - THIS PLACE WAS GREAT! We got the sunken ship sundae and it was crafted to perfection. The scoops were generous and the toppings were really well balanced - not over-sauced. Given the ingredients of the sundae we expected it to be cloying but it was just right. A true art. The biggest surprise is that our sundae -which filled a banana boat dish - was less than $11 and was more than enough for us to share. Took it a few steps back to our hotel and enjoyed it while we watched the tide. Perfect sweet treat with my sweetie.
Dietary restrictions: We are both gluten free and were able to navigate the menu without any issues.

Hands down our favorite place to get ice cream in York! The staff is always super pleasant, and they have lots of flavors!
Quick spot for a cool treat - we got a Del's and DF ice cream, and both were great! Service was fast, but the place is a little small, so it's probably best to send one parent in for the goods while the other parent waits outside with strollers/kids.
It was nice having different gluten and dairy free options!
Best ice cream in York, Maine that I have ever had. Great ice cream with unique flavors and great prices make this a 5 star rating.
