Jack's Taproom Reviews
Worst place. Management's runs the place horribly. Treats their staff horribly. Food is precooked and frozen packaged and charge high prices.
Service- we booked through a travel agency. When calling to make our reservations she inquired about booking on the 17th floor. The representative didn't correct her in that the 17th was only for meetings. So my advisor was under the impression we would be getting a king room on a corner with a balcony on the 17th floor. We are beyond grateful for the exceptional services we received at the Grand Traverse Resort during our daughter’s wedding and events. Jack's Taproom is a regular spot for some, especially during the slow season to watch football. The restaurant serves surprisingly good pizza, and their Italian grinder is a highlight. The food menu is varied, with mixed reviews on dishes like fish and chips, quesadillas, and wraps. Some customers enjoy the good beer selection and appetizers like cheese curds, while others find meals like burgers just OK or disappointing. The quality of service can be inconsistent, with some bartenders and servers like Alex providing great care, while others can be inattentive or even argue publicly. The atmosphere can get loud, especially with the music and blue TV screens causing headaches, but the prompt and friendly servers can make up for it. Overall, Jack's Taproom is an average establishment, with a rating of 3-4, but the experience can greatly depend on the staff attending to you.
