Thus is our go-to for good reliable food
Another year and this place seems yet again reborn. Had a great meal with a beer and the staff was wonderful. A very pleasant experience and clearly the best bar in Alden.

My wife and I visited for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. We were told to sit anywhere. We were provided coffee and menus in a timely manner. The restaurant was not busy but there were a number of tables full. I saw 2 servers. My wife ordered and omelet and I ordered a standard 2 eggs over easy, 2 sausage, hashbrowns and toast breakfast. The eggs were cooked well. The sausages were mild and cooked well and the hashbrowns were cooked crispy on the outside and tender inside. If I had to be picky, they only served me 1 slice of toast cut in half. My wife liked her omelet and it was so large she couldn't eat it all. I tasted the sausage gravy that was on her omelet and it was good. Sausage taste, good consistency and not too salty. I'd go back.

This place is a great example of why not all business owners should be business owners...the staff were incredibly overworked... the place is small, but somehow still didn't have adequate staff. Our server was hostess, server,
and buss-girl (with 3 other servers on with her) The food was mediocre honestly and not worth $15-20 per item on the menu. The $6 dollar mocktail "strawberry mint mojito" (pictured above) had old discolored leaves, FROZEN strawberries that never thawed after our 1.5 hourish time there, and taste like plain seltzer water... i won't go back to this place and strongly suggest you don't either... this was a waste of $47 for two people who had two non alcoholic drinks and two entrees.

I love it here! super chill... sitting out on the back deck... chilling with the dogs, drinking beer! Had the vegan mushroom portabella burger, it was amaze-balls!! Dogs love the doggie area...
Vegetarian options: Mushroom portabella burger super amazing loved it!!! Sweet potato fries could have been more crispy. But next time I'll ask for them to be more crispy...they were still good
