We happened to pass by on our way through. A rare find. Everything fresh and homemade. No burgers. No fries. Salads. Soups. Quiche. It felt really good. Super friendly. Had a fantastic lunch. We then took muffins with us for the onward journey, which were also really tasty. Nice veranda to sit outside.

I ordered 2 to go chicken salad sandwiches on Saturday 8/24/24 for lunch. They came to $30. They made one of them incorrect and when I asked them to fix it, they were very very rude. I wasn’t upset because it was made wrong (we all make mistakes), I was upset because of how I was treated when I asked them to make it how I had ordered it. Then, instead of them just saying, sorry, they tried to tell me that I didn’t order it the way I ordered it. And for me to make sure that I order it correctly the next time. I explained that I told the young girl at the cash register how I wanted it made (no butter and not toasted) and that it was her mistake, not mine. I explained that the person that took my order must not have told the cook how I asked for it. And then again, Instead of saying sorry to me they then blamed the it staff person and said it was just because she was so young and then They finally apologized to me. So if that wasn’t enough of an issue, then when I finally got the sandwiches that I had ordered, when we went to eat them there was hardly any chicken salad on either of the sandwiches. It was such a disappointment to spend $30 on two little sandwiches and not get hardly any chicken on it. It was mostly white bread. The only positive was since I had to wait so long (about 20 minutes) I ended up buying some cookies. Those were awesome and only $2.00 each.

This place is an institution! My wife’s family used to sail here from across Torch Lake and the muffins would be sold out so they bought a speed boat and named it the “Muffin Tin Express” Say hi to the owners, enjoy and share stories in line, get an oat top muffin and thank me later.

I only got coffee so can’t comment on the food, but the coffee was delicious and the food seemed reasonably priced. Cute atmosphere and would come back if I’m ever in the area.

Amazing muffins - very moist and flavorful! Come here solely for that. Avocado toast was lacking in flavor and very small for the price of $9 - was one piece of toast cut in half and needed salt and perhaps a dash of everything topping. The breakfast sandwich had a tiny, thin piece of ham - just seemed like most of the flavor was from the bagel. Lastly, espresso drink was not very strong. Asked for 3 shots and tasted like it only came with 2, also milk was way too hot and not properly frothed. Nice folks running the place. It's very busy so they're working hard to keep. Just wish there was more depth to the non-muffin items we ordered.

Wonderful place to stop in. The best muffins out there. Grab a dozen or so and head down the street to sit on the shores of Torch Lake and admire it's beauty.
