Great place for ice cream in Alden downtown. Lots of varieties of ice cream, shakes, floats, sundaes. Cookies and hotdogs are also available.

The praline ice cream was delicious and they had a lovely grass seating area.
Neat little place. Good sundae. Staff were very friendly. Would return.

Mediocre as far as ice cream shops go. Pricy and the vanilla soft serve tasted off. I didn’t love the hand dipped ice cream either. Atmosphere was lacking. Staff were nice though. We were feeling great coming from an amazing restaurant down the road and our experience here damped the vibe.

Amazing ice cream shop, the new owner is making this place wonderful. Emily waited on us and was very friendly and helped us decide on which ice cream to get, and she was on point, the brownie batter was amazing!!
Excellent ice cream and service.
More expensive than Higgins, but the atmosphere and employees are top notch.
To say we loved our ice cream flight is an understatement! We will 100% go back when we visit the area. Incredible, kind service and of course amazing ice cream!
The prices are reasonable and the staff were really nice

Delicous dairy free ice cream from Moomers. Nice outdoor seating.
Cute old fashioned ice stand.I had the cherry ice cream and could taste the freezer burn. I would go again but I would look and see if the ice cream was at bottom of container and choose another flavor. Best cones ever.
awful service, the owner is very rude and they often close early ?
Lakeside Dip has been a family favorite for years, (to the point that the staff is starting to wonder if we have our own place, or if we just camp out on their grounds ?). And we have all really enjoyed meeting the new owners this summer. The more regular hours also mean that we can get our fix more frequently. Thanks for continuing to be a special part of summer for our family. And thank you for always welcoming us with a smile (even though we talk your ears off). We can't wait to be back---and we certainly will be---very soon. We love you, Lakeside Dip Team!
Love it. The only thing missing is the Reese’s peanut butter cup Blizzards.
