I love being around the marinas. The new owners are closing things up. They do not want visitors on the property. Algonac Harbor Club was always an important part of Algonac. The city and owner were always helping each other out and people were welcome to visit the property. Not any more. They are locking the place down. You do not feel welcome there anymore. It's like a Detroit marina. Nobody enters. To bad for Algonac, to bad for boaters.

We really enjoyed ourselves… huge thanks to office… we forgot our power cord, they had a spare! Good band and comfortable outdoor bar… nice clean& spacious washrooms… but please add some motion sensor lights… transient slips are totally dark!… thanks Algonac for a great stay ❤️?

We like to come here for “boat camping.” For many years it was a tradition with the kids. Now it’s just the two of us. We love it here!

Could clean out the weeds where the boats are docked (border control) boat sits. Also the 300 to 400 area. Hard to fish there.Owned by new company now. Bathrooms are beautiful and the signs are repainted. Great job!

Super kid friendly! You have got to try their deep fried bacon for breakfast! There is a T.V at this restaurant!

Hope the new management makes the changes needed and hope the restaurant serves better food!
Perfect weekend spot to wine , dine and enjoy the pool and hot tub . Made many friends here , and always had a nice time with boaters who shared our interest in cruising .Lots of history made here , with the former ChrisCraft wood boats built here long ago and some original buildings still standing .Boat racing began here with Gar Woods and many others .

We experienced great service and disappointing food. Food not cooked to expectation and no even close to appearance from menu

Arrived by boat from Canada.. wanted to spend the day by the pool, get some lunch and drinks, stay for dinner then head out. We've done this before, several times with no issues.. we arrive, unpack out boat, get to the gates of the pool to be told that we aren't allowed in! They don't do day passes.. the kiddie pool was EMPTY! We offered to pay for a transient well slip for $75USD even though we weren't parked in one or planning to stay the night. The staff was rude, unaccommodating. We ended up at the restaurant to sit there for 2 hours and get NO service.. not one server came up to us! We are super disappointed as we usually visit this place several times a season. :( this could have been handled way differently.
Great summer time place
