Saturday, June 28th we were on our way by boat to Port o call for lunch. On our way we lost an engine. We idled to AHC on one engine with no power steering. The gents working harbor master were very helpful with getting us docked in a transient slip. I paid for one night while I decided what to do with my mechanical issue and after a few hours decided to have tow boat tow my boat back to my home in Harrison twp. We've held our Yacht Club's annual end-of year rendezvous weekend here for the past few years. They are very gracious hosts. Good docks, water, and power. Grassy area with picnic tables behind the docks. Clean bathrooms with showers. Restaurant, outside bar, and pool. Very helpful staff and very clean facilities. We highly recommend them and will definitely be back!
We always have an awesome experience at Algonac Harbor Club. Everyone is helpful and very friendly, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable! Thank you to Don, Anthony, Mike, Graham, and Andrew for your top notch service!!
