El jalapeño seriously has the best Mexican food in southeastern Michigan. I live in Southwest and still order carry-out from El jalapeño.

Everything I have ordered from here has always been great quality, amazing flavor, and great portions.

Drive the extra a few minutes west to Allen Park. You will not be disappointed.

I used to go here nearly weekly when I had worked nearby. Whenever my schedule permits I try to make the pilgrimage. I’d classify this great eat place as pretty darn close to an eatery you might find on an average back street in Mexico. It’s less TexMex and more authentic. One can sense a “street style” taste as it feels more raw & less processed. Food selection is fairly standard. I wish they offered more home style dishes like Menudo or Ceviche. No complaints...

Wow, what an experience! The waitress was very attentive. The food was very, very good. I got a combination plate. It was worth every penny. I wish this business much success in the future because they are doing a good job. If I had to critique one thing, it would be about the brown paper towels on the table. They do not absorb like the white dinner napkins you usually get in a restaurant.
