Food was very fresh and tasty. It was the perfect lunch for a winter day. I got the Thai Vylai friend rice and it was great. The spring rolls and ginger soup are also very tasty. Service was kind, and the atmosphere was cozy.
Great food, fair prices, friendly staff. They closed down my go to, Lu Thai, in Dearborn cause the rent hikes pushed them out. Apparently Thai Vylai is owned by a family member of Lu Thai's owner. Very similair is dishes so its my go to for Thai now.
Just recently gave this place another try, the food is just too bland. Got the Pad Thai, it was watery and not a lot of flavor at all. I also got the Tom Kha Gai soup and it just tasted like sour water. I really wanted to like this places because I’ve been referred here so many time but both times it was very underwhelming.
