I've been coming here with my family for some time to get ice cream, but finally decided to come in for coffee. Definitely a more chill ambiance in the morning than during the day, which was nice. The barista (I'm assuming the owner?) was so friendly. The lattes my son and I had were amazing. (Milky Way and Reese's). Tasty and well made. I would definitely recommend coming here!

We just moved to Grand Rapids from New York and found this place- there are so many chain businesses around, it was so nice seeing a local icecream & coffee shop! we’re excited to keep coming back! It feels like a real hometown establishment with quality service, treats and coffee, you can’t find that easily around

This is our all time favorite ice cream spot. They carry Ashbys ice cream which is delicious and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming, I drive 30 minutes just to come here. They also serve coffee now so it’s one stop for everything. If you’re in the area or not don’t go to starbs or bigby come and support a great local business.

Amazing ice cream and coffee and excellent service. The owner graciously made us coffee drinks after hours since the ice cream was open but the coffee area had closed. It was very nice of her to do that. Great place!

I visited for the first time recently and was not quite sure what I wanted. As a non coffee drinker I was unsure about different choices. Server was super helpful. And the drink was DeeLish !!!
Super cute layout and place! Always busy, but love how much seating they have outside!Dietary restrictions: They have amazing dietary restriction options! They have gluten free cones, vegan soft serve (some of the best I have had!), and an allergen chart posted with all the foods containing allergens.

This is a unique spot considering they pair coffee and ice cream. The staff are very friendly and they have local ice cream that is great quality. However, their portion sizes are very small for what you pay. I paid 4.87 for a kids scoop in a waffle cone and got two micro scoops. Considering they are the only local ice cream place in Allendale I would have hoped that they would have better portion sizes and value. I had a good experience while I was there though and cannot fault the staff for anything they were polite and friendly, answering all my questions. EDIT: The owner kindly pointed out that I was wrong previously when I said they were closed at 4pm on weekdays, that is my fault, their coffee shop closes at 4:30 which is quite reasonable.

Was excited to try Affogatos, however, my experience was not the greatest. #1) My donut was frozen, fresh out of the freezer… #2) Coffee was mediocre despite all the good things I’ve heard. Maybe it was just a coincidence this happened to me, but, quite disappointed in my experience ◠̈
