I really want to love this place, but it’s only okay. The staff seems to consistently have an attitude of impatient irritation. The prices are not well marked and in my opinion, on the high side. Tonight I watched six groups walk away disappointed because their hours are incorrect on their own website. I do appreciate that they have non-dairy options, but gluten is not well marked.
We are looking forward to stopping by when we drop our son off at GVSU the end of August. We met the owner this weekend at a restaurant near our lake house. I was feeling sad about sending my last off to college. Now I'm excited to get to have some great coffee and ice cream when visiting him! Dave, thanks for giving this mom something to look forward to.
On the outside, it looks like a typical strip mall store walking in was like stepping into another world, very nice. They have more flavors of ice cream than I didn't know even existed, including my new favorite carrot cake. Pricing was fair. Had a little lounge area, we actually went there with someone who was waiting for their parents to pick them up so it was a nice cool place to wait.
