“Our first visit was 11/8/2025 with our grandson and his family. As soon as you open the door, you can tell this place is clean bright and cheerful! The food & service were great as well. The portions were good, and it was fairly priced. We will visit again when we go through Alma. Thank you Vanessa, for a pleasant experience and GREAT food Highly recommend! 12 out of 10 stars! 😎😎”

“**Doesn’t Recommend. Disappointed, again. When I first moved to the area 2 years ago, the pizza was great, however the standards have changed at the Alma location. This review reflects my last 2 visits, as I wrote one off as a isolated incident and decided to try again tonight. For just over $10, I don’t expect perfection… but come on, it’s pizza! A vital part to a pizza is the crust. I have had better pizza crusts with frozen products than this location is serving lately. It is tough, chewy and not risen at all. Having an extensive culinary background myself, these are easy issues to remedy. Check your yeast, proof your dough, don’t overwork or over flour… simple. However after having the same issues my last 2 visits, it is obvious that this product has been deemed acceptable and now the new standard. The St John’s location doesn’t have this issue, so I suppose I’ll have to take my business there going forward. Sad, considering being a chain, even if independently owned, should have the same standards of quality and strive for consistency.”

“These workers are just incredible, kind and always helpful. Plus their food is pretty good!! 👍🏻 😋 👌🏻 There is no dining in here but there's a drive through window to order ahead and get without ever leaving the warmth of your car!”

“My favorite pizza place out of all the ones around (and I've tried them all)! The bacon they use on the pizzas is delicious and cooked perfectly, and they use fresh mushrooms (not canned). I love the garlic butter crust too. Can't be beat!”

“Eat here every time we come visit our kids at Alma College. Our daughter has to eat gluten free and their menu offers a lot of options for her. Food and service is top notch! Great prices considering the servings are huge. We’ve never had a bad experience with food or service. Highly recommend”

“The business supports local musicians, and is now hosting Traditional Celtic Sessions a couple times a month... add to that an interesting menu with great coffee and tea drink selections and you have the perfect venue for a town rich in their Scottish Heritage. “Sweet Lilly’s Cakes provided a small 2-tier cake(cherry chip with vanilla buttercream) and 300 cupcakes(chocolate, vanilla and cherry chip with vanilla buttercream) for my wedding in July 2023. Cake tasted phenomenal and the presentation was beautiful. I gave faux florals for her to work with and asked her to surprise me and it turned out better than imagined. Was always punctual with communication and answered any questions we had. I couldn’t have asked for a better small business to provide my wedding cake. Would recommend to anyone for all your cake needs!”

“Having attended Alma College, Pizza Sam was part of my life for four wonderful years. Now, when in the Alma area I always try to make a point to get my favorite pizza and the taste takes me back to my college days. The crust is just the right thickness, the sauce has the perfect amount of spice, and they always are generous with the toppings. Tip: Get a side of ranch for your crust. Mmmm Can’t wait until my next visit.”
