“A mom and pop place in the middle of no where saved us hungry bikers! Great food. Grandma is very kind and a great cook! The wet burrito, french fries, and grinders are very tasty. Prices are reasonable! Grandma surprised us all with a slice of peanut butter cake! Absolutely delicious! I was lucky enough to find 4 slices for sale and bought them all!”

“I made reservations for Sunday brunch for a group of 17 today. we were celebrating my mother in laws birthday. I have to give a HUGE shout out to Grace. she took such good care of us all. She is always so great when we come in to the bar to eat. The food was so yummy and the service was amazing. Thanks to Shepherd Bar and Grace for being so great to us! 5⭐️”

“4 stars ONLY because I'm not from this area BUT food was amazing small town deli, any food from a small town diner, deli, restaurants are always good cooking imo weather your from there or not your food will always be good cuz they cook with love because they love to cook. I got the Wicked Chicken sandwich, Sandwich size was a bit small for ME personally but I can eat another so this has no effect on the ratings. GOOD JOB VanEffen's keep it up

“We had a family party there last night, there were 22 of us. Our server Grace who was doing it all by herself was fantastic, she was very helpful, friendly, courteous and caring. She took our orders, served our meal and was our bartender with a big smile. She asked us frequently if everything was okay and could she get us anything else. It had to be hectic doing all this alone but she handled it with flying colors. Food was excellent and prices reasonable, I highly recommend this restaurant, beautiful place and great atmosphere. I hope the owners appreciate Grace and the fine job she does. Grace is definitely a huge asset to your company. On a scale of 1 to 5 I would give her a 10??”

“During crumbl’s B-day, it was sooooo busy. I mean like waiting 40+ minutes because of how many orders there were. Thankfully the team did such a great job working under such pressure. One of the workers, Weston, did a really great job with handling impatient customers and getting the cookies as fast as he could. The entire team was great and did their best. They were rushing so the cookies didn’t look the best, but they tasted yummy! Shoutout to all the team members who worked this week! Y’all are awesome!!

(The 2nd photo is the line up from Crumbl’s bday. They just made the Oreo cookie then and there, so it was warm which is why the frosting melted. But the team worked efficiently to get everyone’s order completed). :)”

“Everything about this place is absolutely adorable! Shakes are amazing, and churros are delicious! The lovely ladies working were very sweet, and had smiles on their faces the whole time! She even brought our churros and shakes to us instead of saying our name for us to come up to the counter. A small touch that made a huge difference! You can absolutely tell they love what they do, as they take their time to carefully make your order and do not skip out on any details! Will most definitely be back!”

“Absolutely love the wide variety of dogs and the late night hours. My husband and I went here after a local concert, and we both got the MacDaddy Dog and Dirty Dog, plus two High Noons. Delicious and great vibes. It was very busy line with drunk college students, but our food came out in less than five minutes from ordering!”

“Stans Restaurant....where to start. In old town Mt. Pleasant sits this quaint little restaurant situated in a tenement next to the Broadway theatre and near the end of Broadway St. My wife and I walked into Stan's, and it was like we were transported into a Norman Rockwell scene. The people and staff were very friendly, and we were seated right away to my amazement. I ordered egg breakfast and my wife the biscuits and gravy. Both dishes looked wonderful and tasted even better. The home cooking slogan on the wall is true to its calling, It's excellent food. The home-made bread is some of the best I've ever had anywhere in the country hands down, excluding my mothers of course ☺️. I wanted to buy some loaves but they didn't have enough available. I wish this place wasn't 3 hours from me as we would frequent Stan's daily. Kudos to the owners for having the vision to create such a wonderful staple for the community. ????”
