It's pretty sad when you go in on a Tuesday and order an all you can eat. The waitress asked if I wanted another order and I said yes and got the first all you can eat. The waitress asked if I wanted another order and I said yes. Well the second all you can eat didn't come and then the waitress gave me my guest check. The real sad part of this whole ordeal was the manager was at the next table talking with who I am assuming was family or someone she knew real well and never left the table the whole time. This is the second time I've had a disappointing meal from Applebee's in Alpena. One more strike and I will never step foot back in there. Applebee's in Alpena really needs some staff changes and I'm a food critic and a blogger. That being said Applebee's in Alpena needs a lot of work!!!!

Absolute nightmare of a dining experience. From walking in the door with the rude host, the server telling us she will be with us three different times (over 10 mins for initial greeting) to the manager standing and not checking in to help assist the trash service.
AFTER we were greeted, it took another 20+ mins for our drinks. WATER. Then food brought cold. This was on a week day, with less that full sections.

Curbside to go! The food was great, even after the ride to the hotel. The service was good. The Server was very polite and friendly. Can't comment on the atmosphere, but I am always comfortable in my truck by myself. Hahaha!

The hostess wouldn't let us sit at the bar and have a drink,While we waited for a table with ten open seats at the bar because she said the manager wouldn't let her do that. Craziest thing i've ever heard of, so we left.
