My husband and I dined here while we were in the area on vacation. I specifically went here for the fish because a lot of people say it's the best. They were out of the sandwich that my husband wanted so he didn't end up ordering anything and we just shared a combo appetizer and my fish dinner. The combo appetizer was good but one of the chicken fingers was raw in the middle after my husband took a bite of it. The fish was good but not what I expected for everyone saying...
Yes go there! They have excellent, unique food no where else in town. They cook their own including their corned beef and scotch eggs. Its not just bulk food put on a plate! They also accept subsitutions-- it even explains that on the menu. The Steak Salad is spot on good. Yes you can ask for mashed potates too!
