Chee Peng Chinese and Thai Restaurant

We went for our anniversary and had a horrible experience. My husband got the buffet as I awaited my fried dumplings. They took about 15 minutes and then I waited for my main which was wrong and by then I was miffed. I asked for no carrots and broccoli but that didn’t happen so I said scrap it and be done. Our waitress was amenable but not empathetic at all. My husband finished 2 plates before I got any food right or wrong. It was bad service practice all together and made me angry. I hope they get their business together and have a better idea about how to deal with bad experiences.

Hands down the BEST PAD PED I have ever had. I've tried it at other restaurants in the state and nothing has ever compared or come close! The food is definitely made with a lot of love!

Food was excellent. Bathroom was not good at all. No toilet paper, trash over flowing, gobs of tp in the toilet. The young girl working seemed overwhelmed. A nice man helped us and took our order.

The chicken and broccoli, chicken kabobs, fried rice and pork fried rice are all excellent!!

Would recommend take out for sure, just maybe not dine in. Tables were nice and neat.

Always fresh, hot and deliciously prepared! Love the variety available. Have yet to receive anything less than perfection!

I was here yesterday (May 28). Ordered an appetizer sampler and szechuan pork. Food was very tasty, generous portions, well presented. Very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have Chinese or Thai food in the Alpena area.

We Always do take out and they are very accurate with pick up time. Also very personable and accommodating and the food is great.

Building is Always clean and kind staff. The food is popping with flavor. There is something for everyone. Best in town.

Generous servings and very tasty food! The spicy fried rice was excellent.

Duh .. Didn't go to this location. We went to Oscoda and it was something Chinese, but that didn't resemble Beef Chow Mein... The gravy was clear and hardly any beef mostly celery not even a typical chow Mein vegetable.... We'll have to drive all the way to Tawas next time we want Chinese.

Awesome food, great service.
Ate there tonight, still an AWESOME PLACE TO DINE.

Great find with amazing staff. My only complaint is instead of egg drop soup they gave me cabbage soup but everything else was outstanding.
