Scoops is an Alpena staple. The service is so well organized that I wish all ice cream shops would follow suit! Recommend the chocolate dipped waffle cones, smores ice cream, and the peanut butter brownie ice cream!

We were driving through Alpena, on our way home from camping further north. I'm so happy we stopped!They make their own waffle cones! You can have one dipped in chocolate for an extra fee! It was so delicious, and very affordable!

Friendly staff and reasonable prices considering how expensive everything is. Good selection of hard ice cream flavors. They also have soft-serve ice cream. They make their waffle cones there and they are delicious and fresh. Lines can be long but they keep it moving along. Basically, it's worth the visit.
