Best pizza around

RJ Lambert

I stopped in to pick up a cheese pizza for me and my kids. The bartender was super friendly and the pizza was delicious!

It's a old bar and grill type place. Took awhile for someone to come out from the back to seat us but once we were seated the service was great. They kept on top of drinks and if we needed anything. Food was great, I got an Italian sub and my mom and husband each got a quesadilla (one chicken and one veggie) and both loved it and ate the whole thing.

We stopped Here after many failed attempts to find a place to eat. All 6 meals and 3 appetizers were delicious. They warned us there would be a wait since they were packed and short staffed, but it really wasn't that long. Our waitress, Rose, was so on top of things even though she had most of the tables in the restaurant. I don't think one of her tables felt neglected. I would 100% recommend this place!

The Hideaway is hands down my favorite bar in the area. Stacie is a great bartender and always makes you feel welcome. The food is always good. They have the best wings around and the fish tacos are really good, they need to be a regular menu item. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Had hogie's and onion rings were well done w/ hint of burnt taste. Waiter had no problem serving us something she said maybe you have air free could cook it in there..cheese was not melted on half hogie. Terrible tasting. Very disappointed.

Nice place between Alpena in Rogers City quite near the faux intersection of Long lake and Grand lake. Big menu of what appears to be nice things. We ate here in the mid-afternoon and we only had a combo appetizer. Quite good the most items were deep fried things, as is the case in most northern Michigan places like this. But great service from Mary, would definitely revisit and recommend for a full meal. Lots of beer choices!

The Hideaway is conveniently located on the corner of Grand Lake Drive and US-23 on the way to historic Presque Isle and the two lighthouse parks. The food was excellent and service was good on a really busy Labor Day weekend. The facility is neat and had a pleasant sports bar atmosphere. Prices were quite reasonable.

Parking: Both sides of building, lots of space.
