I heard decent reviews about Red Brick and was so excited for options for alternative options. Unfortunately, not so much in regards to the Mediterranean dish I had. I was hoping for a home meal like I'd get in Dearborn/Detroit area. It was a nicely presented, drink was good. There was just the zing, zest and flavor missing from the traditional meal.
And other than the stares from folk around us and one bartender from wearing cultural attire (head scarf) the atmosphere was alright, too.

If I could give a zero star I would. The fish was undercooked on my plate and overcooked on my Friends plate. My husband order the bourbon beef tips they were Horrible!! They tasted like medicine ugh! We will not be back and wouldn't recommed. It's been over a year since we ate there and the menu is the same and it hasn't gotten any better.

15 minute wait after being seated before our server spoke to us. Some food was very good but at these prices it should all be great. A "handheld" was served in a puddle of sauce making it very messy to eat as a sandwich. Sloppy presentation was inexcusable. And they had empty tables so it wasn't like they were very busy. I expected better.

Best restaurant in Alpena. They have all kinds of food and everything is fantastic. They change their menu while keeping the staples. Food options for everyone with great vegetarian and pescatarian items. The drink menu is great with friendly bartenders.

I love this place!! I have been here 3 times in the last month and I can't wait to get up north and try something different. Every dish we have tried has been delicious. The brussel sprouts are to die for!
The restaurant was very busy and it took a while to be seated. Our food came out in a timely manner though. They offer several gluten free options which is great. I had an eggplant parmesan sandwich. Everything was great but most of the eggplant was tough. Otherwise the sandwich was delicious.

Gluten Free is ?The gluten-free options at this restaurant are exceptional. If gluten-free wasn’t marked on the menu, you’d never guess the food was gluten-free. The attention to detail in each dish is remarkable, demonstrating the staff’s expertise and commitment to quality. The unique drinks are also a standout feature. It’s impressive to find such high-caliber dining in a Northern town—who would have thought you’d need to head up North for great food! I can’t recommend it enough.
