Fresh food - home made preserve. Had a very satisfying breakfast in a pleasant ambience and a cheerful associate! Made our morning!
Very friendly staff and clean! Had the build your own omlette with smoked gouda cheese, caramelized onions, bacon and tomatoes that was delicious and plentiful! Hashbrowns were excellent!Toast and jam were included. This place is an incredible addition to the Alpena area!

Very clean and airy cafe. You may have to wait a few minutes for your food but that's because it is real and fresh food that us prepared to perfection. We went two days in a row for breakfast. I can honestly say this is THE best quality food I have had while eating out for a very long time. The delicious food was worth the wait at this family ran cafe. Our server was so nice.

Very good food! However, everything else needs some work. The food consistently takes a long time to get to the table. The atmosphere is very odd- bright blue walls, mismatched seating, music doesn't compliment the atmosphere, decorations are off. Very uncomfortable metal chairs.

Stopped into Starlite Café in Alpena for the classic breakfast, swapping the toast for a slice of French toast—and it was worth it. The hashbrowns were light and crispy, scrambled eggs buttery and perfect, and the sausage links packed great flavor. The French toast was delicious, but the real surprise was the cinnamon toast I ordered on the side—the bread itself had a cinnamon swirl baked right in, far exceeding my expectations. Cozy spot, great food, and thoughtful touches that make a difference.
