My husband and I stopped in for the first time today. The food was really good! I highly recommend the dill pickle soup. We met a lady who was celebrating her 96th birthday with her family. The atmosphere was nice. We will be back.

We were totally surprised. Smaller restaurant…. Food was exceptional!!!!!! I can see during a busy time… a little wait. But the lunch we had….. well worth it. Will be back…❤️

As my husband an i sit here and wait for our main entrée I am absolutely disappointed in this establishment. Husband made reservations for 6pm, we walked in every table was full so we sat at the bar to wait. Another couple walks in who also has a reservations at 6pm sits next to us, there is a couple at a table who offers to sit at the bar and the 2nd couple takes that table. Manager didn't even offer it to us nor ask if anyone else had a reservation. I watch as the manager is more interested in talking with customers rather than seeing what is taking so long in the kitchen. At this point we have been here for over an hour and a half the time is 7:39pm. I can also sit here and tell you that you have to many people trying to do to many jobs. Have 1 bartender, have a hostess when your super busy, and then your servers. Our server btw is completely horrible. We unfortunately are going somewhere else.

We made reservations earlier in the day for our Valentine’s Day dinner. We were excited to try the food and arrived 10 minutes before our reservation time. We were seated and ordered within 10 minutes. Now is where it gets bad. We had to wait about 30 minutes to get our appetizer. Then about 25 minutes later we were brought 2 small loaves of bread. The waitress barely made contact with us and as the wait got longer never took the time to acknowledge how long it was taking in an attempt to ease our frustration. By now it was well over an hour and half since we ordered and we need to leave to pick up our teenager from work. We stood to put our coats on and the owner came over to us. I told him we needed to leave and his answer was “it’s not uncommon” and they make everything from scratch. So they grow the cabbage made-to-order and push the kielbasa back there???
After all of this debacle, the owner walks away and goes back behind the bar never offering to cover the $10 cost of our appetizer we had eaten over an hour ago.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The service was horrible-especially on Valentine’s Day. At most, there were 6 other tables in the entire place. Off to Culver's we go!! ugh

Absolutely a great find for lunch! Friendly staff, super clean and we were able to eat outside on a beautiful sunny day. Highly recommend the Dill Pickle 🥒 soup and the Spicy Garlic Pork Tenderloin both unique and full of flavor! ***** 😋

We were very much looking forward to having authentic polish food as half of us are polish. The food was amazing. However, we waited over 2 hours for our food. They were obviously having issues in the kitchen. With it being such a small building and not many of us waiting on food, they could have given us a heads-up or comped a meal or two. Nothing was done or offered to us. If it wasn't for the slow service, this would have been a go-to place for us.
Chris, our server was Great! He was juggling a lot when we came in, and yet, had the time to answer all of our questions and guide our meal quite effectively! The food was awesome! The Hungarian sausage was fantastic! Loaded with multi colored peppers, onions, and kapusta... The loaded mac n' cheese (with homemade Nowicki's sauteed-peppered bacon and broccoli) was sublime. But, The clincher was the Homemade kluski noodle chicken soup that I'd swear (may be wrong) has a pinch of hot paprika in it! My wife and I adored it! I also got to try 2 polish beers I've never seen b4. Nice work Old Polish Corner! We'll let Detroit know about you! Thanks for being awesome!

We traveled up to Alpena from AuGres to not only have a great ride, but for The Polish Corner! SOO GLAD WE DID! Wonderful experience! The food was amazing, beyond what I expected!
We had Audrey Hepburn for our waitress! ( but she wasn’t wearing polish pearls) She was both kind and very good at her job! BUT mostly she had an excellent vibe! She will be a great asset for the restaurant!
