We had the pierogis and the chicken schnitzel. Both were very good. The waitress was GREAT! We got right in and didn’t wait long at all. I would highly recommend.

This place exceeded our expectations by a mile! The service is incredibly friendly and welcoming. It takes a little while to get your food, but that's because they're in the back making your meal with love as you order it. And you will taste that love and attention as soon as you bite into it. The food will be much more than worth the wait to get it. This place is a 2hr drive from our home ...but we will be back.

This is the beat authentic polish food I have ever had. We had to wait for a bit, because they got real busy. I can see why!!! It was well worth the wait. 100% recommend.

The food was great! The Atmosphere is fine. The staff is super nice. But... the wait for your food is atrocious. I recommend bringing an interesting friend and discussing, well, everything. Brought the family and we all agreed we should have brought a deck of cards. Seriously. That would have been fun. Especially a couple games of 500 Rummy. My Polish Grandmother used to play that all the time and it would have been fun to do while we waited no less than an hour for our food. All told, we invested 2+ hours there from the time we stepped in to the time we stepped out.

We were really looking forward to eating here, the men you looked great, we were looking forward to some authentic polish food. Arrived at 4:45 on a sunday, Google says they close at 6:00, got there, chairs were up on the table, open sign was off, hours on the door still said they were open till 6:00. Oh well

My family was on vacation in Alpena, and we were looking for a local place with excellent Polish food. The Old Polish Corner did not disappoint! Most of the group got the traditional Polish dinner and loved it. My wife and I split the chicken schnitzel and pierogi dinners - absolutely amazing! We of course had to try the Polish sausage, which we found out came from Nowicki’s Sausage Shop (whose family also owns this restaurant). The smoked sausage was fantastic. All of the food was truly authentic and had so much flavor, we could tell it was made from scratch.

The staff were very friendly and accommodated our large group (15 people) despite the restaurant being relatively small. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for tasty Polish food. Already planning on placing an order with Nowicki’s Sausage Shop!

Nothing fancy, but a comfortable neighborhood restaurant: Nice staff, good food, reasonably priced, and the small menu even includes a couple of vegetarian choices! An unusual find in a small city.

My pierogis were amazing! I am a pierogi prude and these were by far the best restaurant pierogis I have ever had! The restaurant itself is charming and the staff phenomenal.

Waited about 45 minutes for the food. Server was unsure if perogi were made in house. That was very discouraging since he was the only server there. Tried it, food ok but won't be a repeat.

We had to ask for menus, after 15 min we had to ask for water. No one waited on us at this time. I had to ask someone to take our order (2pp) we waited over an hour for dinner. Customers who came in after us were already eating. The pierogi were great our smoked kielbasa was fried to death and the kielbasa dinner was so overcooked the meat was dry and hard to chew. Our experience took 1hour 45 min very disappointing

Food great but not much interaction by server and came at 1pm and didn’t get food still 2:43pm and not busy at all last year also came and had great food and didn’t wait long for food only wish they had bigger portions especially for pirogi and had polish potato pancakes, that a polish food must have at restaurant, and being 100% polish only thing that can changed and wish they also had wine coolers

Had an awesome meal here while visiting Alpena for the week, also received lots of advice about things to do in the area from the very friendly waitress. (I think her name was Katie, so sorry if I am missing remembering)
