What a lovely experience! Got a #38 (slaw, russian dressing, cheese, bell pepper) and not only was the sandwich itself delicious and a great value, but the staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. 10/10 will come back!

Love this local restaurant cafe. With so many places turning over left and right and closing down it’s great to see this going strong. Great food and SOO many options to choose from. These guys work hard to keep Ann Arborites happy and full with hearty meals.

I got the Nutella and banana crepe - the texture was very rubbery and dry. Basically no Nutella inside the crepe, but I don’t think it would have made a difference - it tasted like an old shoe.

The place is ok but not that great. The food and beverages are only so-so average and also the interior and furnishings of the deli can do some improvements and renovations, especially with power outlets as they are very few inside.

I have eaten here at least four times a week since January last year. The food is awesome. Amer is a total riot if you get the chance to meet him.

Best deli in Ann Arbor! Maize and Blue uses a microwave which makes the sandwiches gross. Strongly recommend any corned beef sandwich.

This place never disappoints me. Wait time can be long at times but the wait is worth it. They have great options for vegetarians too.

I don’t prefer this place. It’s ok. Kinda dirty, and when I walked in one of the people working was talking about how a piece of the display fridge had fallen into the food.

Friendly service and delicious acai bowls! Yummm!

Amer's is the best Acai bowl in town, no question. I don't think the standard is super high, although there's some new competition from Gabba Green and the new Ross smoothie place-- I've tried almost all the local Acai bowls though and I still think Amer's is at the top. It's worth noting, also, that on average the bowls I get here to tend to be a little better than the ones at the State st Amer's (their acai is frozen harder more often for whatever reason... But that's happened to me at this location too, just less often). As for the bowl itself, they pack the well with a variety of fruit, and their granola is very good. The most important part, the Acai, really shines through-- it's not too sweet, it's not water down or blended with other fruit, it's just really good Acai and it totally completes the bowl. It's expensive for the size of course, but that tends to be pretty standard among acai bowls. I can't speak for much else on their gigantic menu, I've eaten a few of their sandwiches and liked the meggwich and falafel sandwich, but otherwise I tend to stick to the Acai bowls. They're by far the item to get here.

Would be five stars except sometimes the pastrami is all fat.

Great place for lunch. The owner is so sweet as well. When I saw the many selections they offer for sandwiches and such I couldn't make up my mind. So I asked Amer if he would just surprise me with something and he made me the best turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado sandwich. Very clean place, very friendly. Will come back again for sure. Thanks Amer :)
