“Erica was a great server. She kept a smile on her face the entire time and appropriately checked on us when needed. We were a big party out of nowhere and she did a great job with everything and explaining anything we had questions about! She is a great server and I would come back to have her as my server again!! Thank you Erica.”
“Our company decided to use Satchel’s to provide food for an annual customer celebration lunch. The Satchel’s team was awesome to work with and accommodated our specific needs for the celebration. Everyone that ate the food loved it. Couldn’t have had a better experience.”
“Fabulous food, great new location with additional indoor and outdoor seating (the top deck of the bus is still so much fun, but it's great to have more options), everything on the menu is safely gluten free, and the owners and staff are friendly and helpful. We love 1923!”
“A bright and open restaurant that feels like a small wedding hall. The small town of Dixboro, surrounded by a nearby stream and trees, is especially lively, and it seems like it's always full of customers.Although the menu is not large, each dish looks great and is sure to whet your appetite. Especially the mushroom pizza is very delicious, so please try it.Parking: There are not enough parking spaces and there are always lines of street parking around the area.”
“Hello People this Is the BEST Place In Ann Arbor to Eat. Very Clean, Great Ambiance, Great Service. And AMAZING Food And Drinks. Only one down side they will not go Gluten Free. But that does not effect My Review. I stand by everything I have said here.”

“Love Metzger’s! Authentic German cuisine and the Potato Pancakes are absolutely delicious! My husband grew up in a German Family in Ann Arbor and Metzgers was a very big part of his childhood, it’s great to share a memorable meal with him.”
“Always great service and delicious meals. Roasted garlic plate, duck breasts, scallops…. ☺️ delicious. Dining room is warm and inviting. Upscale, but not stuffy. Definitely recommend for date night or a special family occasion.”
“Talk about delicious and don't let the small exterior fool you!!! We got one of the family dinner crab boils with lobster tails, snow crab, shrimp, and mussels. If you haven't checked them out yet make sure you do!”
Restaurants with Delivery
“This place was amazing from start to finish! The restaurant itself is beautiful and well furnished, the food is delicious and comes out promptly, and the service is spectacular! I visited with my husband not knowing what to expect and was blown away.I got the Palm shish kafta with Moroccan soup. First off, we were provided with a sizeable portion of bread and garlic spread, which we had to pace ourselves on since it was so tasty and we wanted to enjoy our main courses to their fullest. Then the soups and mains came out promptly- they were spiced excellently and the meat was tender and plentiful. Our server Hoda was the best! She came around frequently to refill drinks and check up on us, plus she was super personable. When chatting with her, my husband mentioned how we were in town for his birthday, and at the end of our meal she provided us with some baklava on the house. That was such a nice touch; her service made this an awesome and super memorable experience. We will definitely be back!”

“Unique choices. Always super quick when making the beverages. I like the black grape slush with cheese foam. My kid likes the brown sugar tea. I also enjoy the matcha with creme brulee and red bean milk tea. They always taste fresh.”

“I was a little disappointed that our latte did not come with the expected decoration, ingresar it was just plain foam, but the taste was really good tho. I think it depends on the barista. The fruit tart was good too. And they play French music which make it a really nice ambience. Cozy and nice interior.”
“Great food and drinks and the staff treat you like family. Very cool place. I'm looking forward to going back! The beef frita and their fries was everything.”
“amazing baked goods! i made an order of cannolis to pick up ahead of time to take to a work event and everyone was blown away. i definitely plan to return and try more of their products :)”
“It's nice to have a place where I can get a grain bowl or salad without having to mess with going downtown. They have a nice variety of options and the serving size was perfect - it kept me going all afternoon! The customer service is great too. Mohammed was really welcoming and patient! Looking forward to coming here again.Vegetarian options: Many of the bowls include chicken, but it would be easy enough to make the bowl vegetarian/vegan by asking them to leave the meat out. I noticed chickpeas, edamame, and falafel as non-meat protein options.”
“Ricewood has the best bbq dish I've ever eaten. Korean fusion is dope and there's not enough of it about, so to have a top tier option (and *two* locations in A2!) is just amazing. Oh and the staff is always super friendly and generous - got a free drink today! Skip the Roadhouse (unless you want fried chicken or chili) and go here instead!”

“The crew is great 5 stars because the food was fantastic. They were super friendly and very accommodating. As soon as the food was ready they handed it to us. No middle man to have to touch your food. Straight from the cook. The only problem we had is my daughter ordered separately and they forgot to get a name so when it was ready they placed it on the counter for pick up instead of letting us know it was ready. I had to go ask for it. When they realized what had happened they were very apologetic and even offered to make her a new burger. That is great service. I am coming back again.”
“High quality food that is absolutely delicious! You can eat there and also buy food from the store to take home. A bit expensive, but worth the price.Indoor and outdoor seating, including seating around a campfire. They have an indoor bathroom now (not sure if it’s wheelchair accessible-steps in the front entrance but I can’t remember if there’s a ramp at the back.) Family-friendly with sandbox and toys outside and boardgames inside. They always have water dispensers, cups, and napkins easily available, including a big metal bowl you can put water in so your pet can get a drink. Biercamp is a comfortable, relaxing place to spend some time.”

“Very good food!! If I could give 4.5 stars I would. Ethan was a great server! We started with smashed potatoes that were tasty. Then ordered fried chicken and snapper We were told they were out of both. That was upsetting because that's what we came for. Ethan came back and said they could do one chicken. Unfortunately the other guest didn't eat beef or pork. He came back and said they could do 2 chickens. So we got the chicken which was delicious. Also had Tteokbokki for the first time. It was good. Would definitely go back. One of the better meals I've had in Ann Arbor.”

“This hibachi restaurant is incredibly delicious! Move over Benihana’s! The soup and salad were excellent; the freshness of the lettuce and the tastiness of the soup hinted at the deliciousness to come.? The service was fantastic, the restaurant was clean, and the chef was engaging. A must-try for hibachi lovers!!!? ?”

“This was my first time at this restaurant and I was there for a work dinner. It was lively in the restaurant and a little louder and people around us seemed to be deeply engaged in conversation. Our server was very attentive. We ordered cocktails, and a few appetizers that included spinach artichoke dip, the shrimp, brussels sprouts and a couple of folks got the gumbo. I ordered the scallops and grits as my meal. The grits were delicious and the scallops were well prepared. Not overcooked at all the dish had a bit of a kick that was perfect other folks order the salmon, and they seem to like it. I ordered the English garden with vodka, and it was smooth. I enjoyed it very much. We will be back again!”

“Great food! Our son goes to Michigan and we drove down to see him over the weekend. We wanted to try something different and are so glad we stopped here! My son and I had the paneer tikka masala, my husband had the Chicken Sherpa Stew. Everything was fabulous! We will be back!”
“This place is all vegan ? I ordered the banh mi and it was pretty good overall. Service was also pretty quick, which was nice. The only downside in my opinion is that the portion size is kinda small so I was still a bit hungry ? even after my meal! Note: this place is usually very busy so be prepared to wait a lil ⏲️”
“Ive had both poke and ramen here, and both were great! Ramen really hits the spot on a chilly dayVegetarian options: Tofu available as primary protein. Veggie ramen available.Dietary restrictions: "Build your own" option makes it easy to control and know what you're ordering adheres to what you need”
“Always great service and delicious meals. Roasted garlic plate, duck breasts, scallops…. ☺️ delicious. Dining room is warm and inviting. Upscale, but not stuffy. Definitely recommend for date night or a special family occasion.”
“A really nice little spot inside a Shell station. My girlfriend and I both got the chicken shawarma sandwich and it was super good. The meat was really good and the veggies tasted crisp and fresh. The only drawback I could even say is it needed more garlic sauce, but that's just cause I really like garlic sauce lol. The fries were also super fresh and hot and crispy. Probably 5 stars for the fries.”
“Talk about delicious and don't let the small exterior fool you!!! We got one of the family dinner crab boils with lobster tails, snow crab, shrimp, and mussels. If you haven't checked them out yet make sure you do!”
“I’d say to get takeout from here, since the dine in experience is a bit lacking but its fine. The fattoush salad is realllly good. I got the kafta too, was alright. I would say its a little dry but I did not eat it immediately. I honestly do not judge for not having stellar lamb, its hard to find. The service was quick and friendly. I’d definitely come back and their prices are extremely fair.”

“Chef Jordan Balduf is a Buffalo native. More expensive than a chain but well worth it. Think jamaican jerk sauces, szechuan rubs, and the classic Buffalo. He also puts out weekly special flavors for wings/biscuits/sandwiches. Part of @misfitbiscuits, food popups around AA including Lucha Puerco, Basil Babe, Juicy Oistre, and Beautiful Boy Bakery. [Add'l notes if you're from Buffalo: pizza logs on the menu, occassional Old Pink inspired steak sandwiches, Coztanzo's rolls for the sandwiches, and Bills gear plastered all over the shop.] Go bills!Vegetarian options: Tempeh option for vegetarians”
“One of the best new restaurants to open in Ann Arbor - be sure to get the ketchup fried rice and chicken wings … and their take on an old fashioned at the upstairs bar”

“If there ever was a place I could go where they know my name, knights steakhouse is that place. The food and the service have always been first class and consistent. My favorite thing to get is a blacked spice New York strip with French fries. It is absolutely delicious. The steak just melts in your mouth because it is so juicy and tender. Other things on the menu, like their burgers in sandwiches, are also very good. I will always be repeat at knights.”
“I had the Lamb Kafta Mega Sandwich and it was massive.I also had a side order of Falafel.Everything was delicious.Highly recommended if you in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area. I definitely will be returning.”
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vinology and had an incredible experience. Chef Nick's educational session on knife skills and knife sharpening was both informative and engaging. Not only did I leave with improved culinary knowledge, but I also gained insight into the restaurant's commitment to sustainability, with a focus on sourcing proteins responsibly and operating on a no-waste platform. The food was outstanding, reflecting their dedication to quality and ethical practices. Vinology and Chef Nick have truly set a high standard for culinary excellence and environmental consciousness. Highly recommended for both food enthusiasts, wine-lovers, and eco-conscious diners alike! I cannot wait to see what else Chef Nick has in store for Vinology!-I apologize! I think that was an error. I have changed it :)”
“We have eaten here twice now, while picking up our daughter at UMICH. Both times the food was excellent! Also have to give a big shout to our server Cathy, who waited on us for both visits. She was very attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes and made great suggestions for us as we learned the menu. Highly recommend Slurping Turtle!”

“These guys have really curated a perfect assortment of items to meet your late night cravings. Looking forward to more Yemani selections, at least the tea please.Good people, chill vibe, nicely done. ?”
“Charming local place with descent food, descent price and charming local vibe. Would not necessarily drive long to eat here but convenient, descent food and price. I think i just described a dinner.. Would definitely walk over and eat here again”
“I ordered a Mocha Frappe with Oreo and let me tell yall, their employee Star did a fabulous job with this mouth watering drink! Qtr pounder with cheese and bacon added as well as my extra salted fries were also superb! Keep it up Star and the rest of your coworkers!”
“Came for Trivia, stayed after for the incredible food and beer. I’ve only had Smooj before so I wasn’t sure what to expect from their food or other beer but boy was I surprised! The Bulgogi Burrito was so delicious and the rice lager hit the spot. Definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in Ann Arbor, you won’t be disappointed.”
“I got the lamb plate and it was tasty!!! So good! My husband got the gyro sandwich and he also though it was delicious! Very friendly service as well! We will definitely be back!”
“Coming from Jackson, this is the best sushi I have had in Michigan so far. Great, friendly, fast service. This place goes under the radar because it seems like a lunch spot for office workers. On a Saturday it’s quiet, calm, and serves well-made rolls. The chef seems talented. If you’re used to eating a few specialty rolls, watch out because these are generously made. My kind of place.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Socotra Coffee House has great ambiance, staff was friendly, and of course the pastries are delicious. I recommend their caramel milk cake and their mango and dragon fruit juice.”
“My happy place for food. Every meal I’ve had here has been wonderful. Real food made with real care. The smells and music make you feel at home. I live a good 40 miles from here but make a point to stop every conceivable ”
“The food here is so yummy, flavorful, and delicious. Spiedo's entire concept (from the food, to the interior, to the 'graphic design is my passion'-esque posts on social media) is unapologetically vibrant. Please check out their IG; the design of their promotional posters are so avant-garde, it might send my graphic design professor into an aneurism. I went here for lunch and got the Zhoug Knight wrap. It was beyond flavorful. The interior is vibrant and intimate. Service was also great. Spiedo just might be my favorite Mediterranean spot in Ann Arbor. Can't wait to come back.”
“An excellent bakery. Have tried their pastries and cakes and they've all been delicious. We Asians love when desserts are "not too sweet" and this place hits the mark. Friendly service. Several tables inside and outside to sit at. Love coming here!”
“Neat teas shop, have some cool/creative treats my kids love. I kept it simple with hot tea, but there was more than enough variety on the menu where the whole family was happy.”
“All around, excellent – I've been here three days this week already and have gotten the Farmer's Breakfast Burrito (minus bacon, add avo), and a decaf pour over. I'll be coming back for that breakfast burrito on the regular – probably the best breakfast burrito in town tbh.Vegetarian options: I don't recall if anything explicitly states "vegetarian", but it's easy enough to leave off bacon, steak, etc to make veggie-friendly.”
“This place is the perfect little breakfast diner. The guy who took my order was a gruff no nonsense kinda guy that had incredible interactions with my kids.I’d eat here any day of the week. A must stop when in Ann Arbor.Kid-friendliness: Lots of seating, the employees were kind to my kids.”
“Legit food truck, but not where to sit and eat there. The waiver for blazin hot is a little excessive, but the blazin hot chicken sandwich was in the top 3 hottest things I've ever eaten. The recent menu change to add loaded fires with the sandwich makes it a good value for the quality and quantity you pay ”
“Love Metzger’s! Authentic German cuisine and the Potato Pancakes are absolutely delicious! My husband grew up in a German Family in Ann Arbor and Metzgers was a very big part of his childhood, it’s great to share a memorable meal with him.”
“The food here is almost always great. The only issue I've ran into here was this last time we dined in.. Service was great, food was great, but the cooks mouth was just really foul. It was really bad. I consider myself pretty laid back but the things being said that day should've been said in a CLOSED kitchen at the very least. I realize it's A2 but if my 4 year old wasn't wearing his headphones, playing on his tablet, we might have had to complain. We'll still visit but it'll most likely be carryout from now on ?.”
“Bright, inviting, clean. The service is consistent, a family owned cafe here on Jackson Road what a find! The muttabaraq is a fluffy egg pita with whatever you choose. I like my olives on the side! Macchiato is rich & creamy. My kids love the raspberry croissant, locally made Wheelchair accessibile, the restroom itself is wide, there are grab bars behind and on wall. Sink is a roll up style, no countertop underneath and automatic hand towel. No auto button on the door to bathroom, but it is wide enough to pass through.Getting down the hallway to the restroom may be a tight squeeze.Vegetarian options: They are happy to customize!Parking: Ample parking and a street light to deal with traffic.Kid-friendliness: I bring my kids here. They’re kind & hospitable.Changing table in the bathroom.”
“I am so happy to have this cute little bakery/coffee shop open in my neighborhood! We tried 3 baked goodies and all were delicious. Really good coffee too. ☕️ Welcome to the neighborhood, Q!”
“This was my first time visiting Crumbl cookie, and I really enjoyed myself. The cookies were very good. It smells fresh it was clean and the customer service was excellent. Today was my daughter’s birthday and this is one of the places she wanted to go. Very beautiful experience would recommend anyone to go.”
“Authentic, flavorful and fresh food! Their hummus is some of my favorite in the area. The ginger hummus and fulful (spicy) hummus are always packed with flavor! I love their falafel wraps and stuffed grape leaves, and their chicken tawook is tender and so tasty. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu!”
“They are regionally famous for their soups, ala Jerry Seinfeld. And they are only open for 2 hours per day.People start to line up an hour before opening to get their lobster bisque before it sells out, as well as their other soups that change daily. Beer cheese soup is my second favorite.Take out only.Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian soups available daily”
“We love Pacific Rim! My family tried this spot out for the first time, and we will definitely be returning. The food, service, and ambiance were incredible. I would definitely recommend the Wasabi-Peppercorn Tenderloin as it was cooked perfectly and was a really good quality cut. If you're in the area, this is a must try restaurant!”
“We came here for Easter. I had the leg of lamb. It was the best leg of lamb I had. Moist, tender, perfectly seasoned. The asparagus was also cooked perfectly. If this was a regular menu item, I'll eat here all the time”
“First time here with a group of friends. This is a nice place with a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Nachos were great along with the drinks. I had the Wiki Wiki drink which was really good. We had a fun time.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“The BBQ bao was my favorite, but also really enjoyed the gyoza as well. Food was ready pretty quick and good service. Also wish there was a hot noodle option, cold ones were OK. Will definitely come back again to try more.”
“The best pour-over DECAF I ever had. It needed nothing! I wasn’t sure what to expect when I asked for two iced decafs for my coffee-loving/caffeine-sensitive mom & I, but I was surprised and oh-so-glad I did! We were both wow’d - and the lovely human behind the counter (sorry, missed her name) made it with such artistry. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town.”
“I do lap swim in a pool across the street. When I do, I think about what I am going to eat after I am done. This place very often comes to my mind. Food is good but expensive. I guess because you are hit with triple whammies. Ann Arbor... expensive. Anything Zingerman...expensive. Anything eating out nowaways...expensive..While swimming, I realized that Webbers Inn brunch would be about the same as my favorite fish soup and sweet potato fries here. Maybe it is a silly comparison but long story short, good food but bit expensive..When you go, definitely try sweet potato fries..”
“Service was genuine, fast, and hospitable. What a great establishment with a great team. The only thing tastier than the fiesta lime chicken is the smoke show of a ”
“I went to this dairy Queen It was right around the corner from the University of Michigan couple miles away they don't have any food at the dairy Queen but they got ice cream as we all know and I have Heath concrete cup was great if you're getting ice cream and you're around there I'm definitely recommend it.”
“Excellent environment! Very familiar. Servers are very polite, friendly, helpful! Food tastes very good. Good cocktails, and other drinks variety.Just one observation: restrooms are not labeled. So anybody can use any available restroom. I think women should have their own one. It's kind of awkward to see men leaving a restroom that a lady is been waiting to use! Women are delicate! They should have their privacy respected!”
“We ordered 2 fish sandwiches for dine in and 4 roast beef to go. My fish was hot ( waited 15 minutes to get it) but my bf's fish was cold and curly fries cold.”
“The food is high-quality and fresh, there are many options thanks to customizability, the service is quick and friendly, location is great and convenient. This is the perfect go-to sandwich shop. All the sandwiches are great, just make sure to add the hot peppers. The Mediterranean is my personal favorite.”
“fun little treat shop with friendly service. ordered 2 Blizzards (oreo mint and peanut butter cookie dough) which were prepped much faster than the Blizzards at the dairy queens back by our home. this location doesn't participate in the dairy Queen upside down no spill guarantee and they don't have online ordering/rewards but those two dings don't affect the food quality at all.”
“It’s so nice to have a fast food place that you can actually sit inside and eat since June, except for the 2 1/2 month shut down from mid November-February 1. I have eaten at Potbelly so many times since then, so I don’t have to eat in my car. I love their broccoli cheddar soup, and sandwiches.”
“I love the atmosphere when I enter Smoothie King! The employees are so friendly and knowledgeable and I always leave with an awesome tasting smoothie! I never know what I want and they are patient in explaining the different ingredients and flavors! ☺️Dietary restrictions: Easily substituted the non fat milk for almond milk due to daily allergies and my smoothie still tasted great ?”
“Food has always been good. A bit on the high side, but that’s due to their suppliers. High quality ingredients demand high prices. And you can’t get fresher than culvers. I would like to mention however the employees can get short tempered and rude at busier times. And the portions are inconsistent. I would also like to see the dining room cleaner. I often see employees standing idle while there’s trash and food all over the floor. Not a major problem but it would definitely make the experience better. Over all, love it, been coming here for years, and many years to come”
“The original Pot Belly on Lincoln Avenue in Chicago will always be my favorite (40+ years ago). It was amazing. Sandwiches are still excellent now; my husband and I shared a big Wreck with all the condiments. I do think this location needs a deep cleaning. Our table was actually grimy. It's the two seater near the soda machine. We wiped our places down when we left- and no kidding....the napkin was black.”
“This is one of my favorite pizza chains for good pizza at a reasonable price. Sometimes they get busy. But everyone has an issue keeping people working! That's the only ding on this store and my history here! Otherwise 5 stars. Michigan company doing a great job! Nice people working here, always great pizza and I love the hot sandwiches! As always deals in the app, and sent to me also..”
“I was on a long drive and stopped to get a coffee. I didn’t realize what time it was when I pulled up (about 10 mins before they closed). I felt so bad but the person working the drive through was so kind and gave me incredible service. It made my day after a long day at work.”

Aventura
“Aventura has been on our list for a while, I’m so glad we finally made a reservation! The food was absolutely delicious, and wonderful customer service. We sat at the bar, and everyone that we encountered was so friendly, they took great care of us. Our favorites were Milhojas Bravas (potato pave with garlic aioli), Datiles con Chorizo (bacon wrapped chorizo stuffed dates), and Setas a la Planxa (seared wild mushrooms). They brought “birthday churros” for my husband, they were also fantastic! Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu items!”
Nightcap
“The ambiance at Nightcap was such a vibe on a Saturday night. We came to this place for some drinks after grabbing dinner at a nearby restaurant and had to wait about 20 minutes to get in. They have an extensive menu around the Cocktails they offer, and our server was great at recommendations. We ordered a bunch of Crafted Cocktails amongst the 6 of us, and everything tasted delicious. I am a fan of their Smoked Mezcal Cocktail. I'm definitely recommending this place if you ever plan bar-hopping around Ann-Arbor. The crowd here is very Bougie too.Great music, Dark ambiance but Clean, friendly staff!”
Cheap Eats
“The best ice cream in Ann Arbor. Periodt. I'm always blown away by the flavors they have and how delicious it is. Their space is in such a great spot in Ann Arbor that during the summer you'll find a line out the front! You can the any flavor before deciding and take pints home too. My favorite flavor is their balsamic strawberry. The best!”
“Everything is great, portions are generous, and the employees are very friendly. I have visited many times and plan to visit again. The burgers are obviously good, but I also recommend the chicken as a great alternative.Parking: Never had to worry about the parking, lot is plenty big.”
“I was gifted 2 slices of cheesecake today, plain with strawberry topping and pumpkin. At first glance I said this looks like mine! it smelled so good too. I had high hopes about this cake. I was not disappointed, it actually takes better than my home made. so creamy and not quite as heavy. Good work 24th Cheesecakerie.”
“Consistently yummy food. Cheerful & attentive waitstaff. Delicious Thanksgiving buffet-turkey or ham with all the trimmings. Rob, the owner, is always on site, usually with several family members. I highly recommend Holidays.”
“Solid space for working with good vibes. They seem to specialize in coffee-based cocktail and they're good. They're also really strong too. Would come again”
“I am a coffee enthusiast, who is getting a bit more into snob territory, and I have Hyperion to blame. I found Hyperion years ago by chance, and said “This is the best coffee I’ve ever had. I never even knew coffee could taste THIS good!” Now I’ve gone and bought coffee from several places, beans and drinks too. As I write this, I actually have 6 bags of various different coffee beans from places, each unique vendors… except for the two I got from Hyperion. I’ve yet to find ANYONE who has beaten them. Some have come close, some may have them beat in other ways. But ultimately, Hyperion makes THE best coffee I have ever had. I have tried to find someone who can best them and have not found them. I cannot recommend Hyperion enough. They ignited a passion for me, and continue to provide the utmost excellence in coffee. Oh, and they finally sold the banana guava beans! I’m SO excited to see how they turn out at home!”
“the atmosphere, friendlyness of staff, and the vaccine requirement for indoor dining shows this business puts the safety of their staff and customers above anything else.”
“The cinnamon rolls were amazing and so was the friendly staff! My daughter has an egg allergy, so we often have difficulty finding safe treats. Thank you for your delicious options!!”
“Just a great sandwich shop. I typically go with a Where’s Bo but I can say I have tried many others and they all are equally delicious. Family owned and operated, which means they care about quality, quantity, and service and you can surely tell.Store is filled with cool memorabilia and signatures of countless Univ of Michigan athletes. Parking can be tough with it being on the heart of campus so plan accordingly if trying to pick up an order.”
“Board games and good vibes like you'd want from your coffee shop with the added benefit of supporting the larger Argus effort to offer locally produced goods our of their grocery.”
“We love Bao Boys!! It’s not only delicious but it’s a fun experience. They are so friendly and kind. The food is so fresh and flavorful. I would highly recommend!!”
“The most authentic and scrumptious sushi in Ann Arbor, far yummier than the others . This place is above and beyond in freshness and taste. I had reached a somber plateau in my journeys through sushi restaurants. The place seems family run and they may be Japanese , which doesn’t seem to exist in Ann Arbor. I don’t mean to say that Japanese don’t exist here , I mean sushi spots that are run by Japanese owners seem rare or nonexistent in this town hence the lack of meticulously crafted yummy freshness. Staff are super dooper friendly. Now I regret not ordering more and I will proceed to cry in a soft whimper.”
“The staff were friendly and the food was incredible. The beef bahn-mi is top-notch and always fantastic. One of the best and most consistent small local restaurants in the area.”
“At Zingerman's, the mantra "you really can taste the difference" is woven into every aspect of the experience. The Cold Brew coffee, processed uniquely to extend shelf life without additives, features meticulously sourced beans from the Daterra Estate in Brazil and the Apo and Angra coffee cooperative in Papua New Guinea. These exceptional coffees, known as outstanding single origin brews, contribute to the distinctive flavor of our cold brew. Come and immerse yourself in the unique ambiance and flavorful offerings. Upon entering our location, you're greeted by a tempting display of fresh bakery items, both sweet and savory. Witness our associates skillfully crafting dough in the background. The store's construction is not just practical but a work of art, creating an inviting and aesthetically pleasing space for all patrons. It's a place where the environment enhances the overall experience.”
“This place is one of the unsung heroes of Ann Arbor - delicious, nourishing food featuring local farms, and one of the friendliest staff teams around. Our whole family loves eating here. The outdoor seating with heaters is such a boon during chilly weather! We also appreciate that they are one of a few places that are accommodating/sensitive to food allergy needs. The seasonal desserts (peach/blueberry tarts, pumpkin muffins, etc) are our favorites!”
“Enjoyed a stout & king cold brew (loved the hint of coffee!) Their new campus is beautiful. Great outdoor seating. Rotating food vendors. Fully stocked fridge in case you want to take some beer home. Would have loved a few more beer options, including a wheat beer.Looking forward to returning!”

“Came here on a chilly night which is why I ended up ordering the dumpling soup. The size of the bowl was alright for an appetizer and it came with two pieces of dumplings. The dumpling itself is fairly large but I was also hoping there would be more than just two dumplings. This is alright for an appetizer but would probably not order this again. I also got the Totoro tower which I enjoyed more than the soup. The tower was pretty filling, super flavorful, and I really like how they plated this dish with the layers of sauces. Came here during Umich's spring break so it wasn't busy and service was quick. Normally it can be pretty busy and we would have to wait 30min-1hour.”
“Great food. Had the chapala Pina colada, the presentation was impressive but it tasted too sweet (maybe as for no or less added sugars). Nice ambience, reminded me of the movie Coco somehow.”
“Sushi was great. I did have a roll with eel which confirmed that I prefer my eel smoked. Other than that, food came quickly, server was friendly, and the prices are fair.Vegetarian options: Definitely vegetarian options to choose fromParking: Small, limited parking”

“I will preface this and say the food was delicious and the atmosphere was fun. We arrived for an early seating, and were quickly served our salads, starters and wine (we tried an Orange wine that they offered, no taste test allowed so we winged it). Unfortunately we were not even halfway done with our salads, and they brought our main dish. We stated we hadn't finished our salads yet and our server shrugged and put our main entree down anyway. Although the entree was delicious, it became cold because we hadn't finished our salads and starters yet. We hadn't been there long so we were confused by the rush. We asked if he could reheat it and he said no (which I guess makes sense because of food contamination.) Anyway, disappointed we had a cold entree, and the server disregarded our wishes, which seemed completely unnecessary as the next seating wasn't for a long time. We spent around $210 for two vegetarian meals and a bottle of wine they recommended, which would have been worth it if things hadn't been rushed and cold.”
“I have to say AMAZING!! Ordered for the first time this week and I cannot wait to order for next week!! The veggie lasagna was awesome!!! Corn chowder awesome. Chjcken and side of rice was great. I could have had it delivered for free since I spent over 50.00, but I am off Tuesdays and wanted to pick up and then go to Zingermans bakehouse which is nearby. Pick up was a breeze. Thanks for feeding me this week!”
“First time at Taste tonight on a business related dinner. Lots of locals, awesome menu. Duck breast was Devine, huge cellar for this warm Ann Arbor local. I love places with interesting desert wines, they have a great selection.”
“Staff is on top of their game. The food is 5 stars, and the wine selection is frickin dope. A bit pricey but worth every penny. We had wine flights which allows you to try multiple different wines and it is comes on a placemats that tells you what wine it is. Pretty coolVegetarian options: There are vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: There are options for people with dietary restrictionsParking: There is a big ol parking lot for you to bring all your cars.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm pretty sure it is wheelchair accessible”
“I really like the food at Mani. I was told Mani had the same owner as Isalita. Their Mexican food was so bad, I couldn’t believe it. Mani should double in size, forget that other place.”
“Delicious food from a talented chef, lettuce tastes fresh from the garden, lovely live acoustic music, friendly waiter with a fancy mustache, beautiful mismatched plates, enchanting decor... I recommend this place to everyone .Vegetarian options: Mmmm vegetarian plate is so good also various perogis”

“It was a 50th wedding anniversary. Food and drinks were paid. I did not hear one negative comment about the food or drinksOnly hiccup, we waited over 30 minutes for the valet to bring our car as there were only two working. It didn't help that all of the anniversary guests and some regular patrons were leaving at the same time.”
“My son and I stopped in here for a quick pizza while we were on the road. The ambiance won't blow you away, but the pizza will. I don't write this lightly, it was the best pizza I've ever had. We ordered a NY style pizza with pepperoni, I recommend!”
“Might be biased since GC is my brother in law, but it's legit the best place in town for specialty cocktails and food. Live music to top and this place will always be my go to. ”
“Great spot for a nice night out with friends, date night, girls night... The food is great, and the vibes are great.Favorite vegan and gluten free options include the sweet potato starter plate and the vegani pizza -- but there are many more options. Oh, and the sorbetto is so good.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options with extra safety steps available upon request!Vegan swaps available for all pizzas.”
“Such a welcoming environment and amazing food! The cheesecake is a must! Also, the host, I believe his name was Hector, was incredibly charming and funny. I highly recommend!”
“I do not drink alcohol so cannot comment on that, but my friends seemed to enjoy their drinks especially their beers.I had the eat your grains salad and it was amazing. So tasty and textured. Caesar salad and pretzels were good as well. Beer battered fries were absolutely delicious too. Food portions are pretty good for the price too.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options on the menu and it’s marked properly.”

“Start to finish, this meal was awesome.First, we were very warmly welcomed, and seated right away. The service was fabulous, with great recommendations. The food was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The bacon wrapped dates were a surprisingly delicious flavor combo. We got the lamb shank and the salmon for entrees, both awesome. Dessert (rice pudding) was amazing as well. Love that its family owned. This place has been hiding from me! We will be back in the very near future.”
“AUTHENTIC HIGH QUALITY HOME COOKING!! This place is so charming and honestly a hidden gem! My fiancé and I stopped in here while visiting Ann Arbor and he is from Turkey. He was missing his mothers cooking and this absolutely hit the spot. Their menu is always changing and includes Turkish comfort dishes. The woman they helped us was so sweet and explained everything on the menu in detail. Everything is amazing but get the tomato stewed green beans no matter what. They are life changing!”
“This was an anniversary dinner and we wanted a calm and quiet experience. So we reserved an early table and were placed in a pseudo booth area. Although it filled up towards the end and got noisier, we had plenty of quiet time for our meal. Nikki was a wonderful server and the food was terrific. All in all a perfect evening.”
“This is a comfortable casual craft bar with a tasty menu. Most portions were quite generous and we were able to share everything we ordered. The food was tasty and creative. There were many crafted drinks, including several non-alcoholic. There was a nice selection of beers and wines. We went for a casual dinner and were not disappointed by anything.”
“Was a perfect time to go, right at opening. We were seated quickly and served quickly. Servers were personable and gave recommendations! Drinks were delicious and food was amazing. If you like finger food, this is your place!!”

“We went in the afternoon and it was pretty empty. Food was awesome though! It took a while to come out but everything was super delish ? also note that it is a bit on the higher side price-wise. Definitely still worth a try though!”
“Our waitress was the bomb! I wish I'd gotten her name!! She totally rocked our party of 13 as well as all her other tables. Never once did she waver as to our orders or what we were drinking, and it was a busy night for her.”
“Great food! Have been coming here for breakfast only every year for birthdays. If you love breakfast platters, you will love this place. The sausage gravy is pretty good, heavy on sausage flavor rather than flour. I always gets the sausage gravy, and I'm picky about that since I can make it at home. It's a medium sized restaurant with approximately 15 booths and a handful of table seating scattered throughout. Can get busy, so come expecting to stay for a while. This is a true sit-down restaurant, not fast food. They make your food after you order it. Place is nice and clean. Atmosphere can be a little loud with everyone talking at once , probably not a good place for meetings and interviews.”

“Service was fabulous, and food was very tasty across the board. Only caveat, is bring back lasagna, and consider new desserts. Would recommend AND go there again! Thanks Meditterrano!”
“Not my normal place I'd be at but they host a board game event every 2nd Thursday of the month. That was pretty cool. Was fun to try some different cheeses and meats I normally wouldn't. Someone who knows more about wine would enjoy their drinks more than me. But I'll probably be back.”
“The restaurant itself is beautiful. We have been to the downtown Detroit location and decided to give the Ann Arbor location a try. We were not disappointed! We went for our anniversary and our waiter Ivan made our night out so special! He was very attentive, engaging and genuinely pleasant! The food is amazing, the variety of meats that are offered is great, and there are so many interesting dishes within the salad buffet. Thank you for such a great evening, we will absolutely be back!”
“As Jolly Pumpkin is our MOST favorite beer and restaurant, we are sad that it seems the service continues to go downhill . Beautiful Sunday afternoon just before 4:00, not busy at all, we were greeted by hostess (only after the server waiting on the outdoor tables blasted in front of us while letting the door close on us only to chit chat with the hostess). We asked the hostess for one of the many empty tables in the front half of the restaurant since the great big windows were open. She said no, she can’t seat only two people at any of the tables. We said that we come often and are sat there quite frequently, without asking. She said she couldn’t seat us there “it’s policy”. Though not one of the tables was sat the entire time we were there. Our server took a bit to get to us but it appeared to be shift change over time. Thankfully, she was super sweet. We ordered two beers and an appetizer to start. 10 minutes AFTER we finished our appetizer, we still didn’t have our beers. Our server kept looking and waiting for them to no avail. One of our two beers was poured, only to sit there on the bar awaiting the other. 25 minutes after we sat down, we finally got our beers, one an inch lower than the rim since the head had disappeared long before. On the bright side, the appetizer, pizza, and beer were delicious and the server was great! And it’s still our favorite place in AA!”
“the decor was all Michigan wolverine theme and the menu and drinks had a lot of choices but everything was so delicious and it was real filling so it was a enjoyable experience thanks again Allison”

“Classic Korean cuisine. Excellent Korean style interior design. Delicious Kalbi, kimchee, steamed egg soup, Korean salad, dinjon, and one cannot forget the Soju.”
“Though I'm not exactly sure this is where my host went to get the pizza, it's the closest to his Ann Arbor address. It was in a way a surprisingly good pizza - which tasted even better, especially the one with mushrooms and jalapeños, the next day for breakfast. Several of us really enjoyed this on a wonderful evening! Oh, it was one of the few places open on Sunday, July 3rd - so a long weekend on which many other eateries were closed.”

“The environment is a whole VIBE! Staff is amazing. Cozy space with comfort food and tasty drinks. Lots of great beer choices and even a great selection of non alcoholic drinks too!”
“We had the pulled pork this visit which was excellent. There was enough meat for 2 more meals which makes the price more affordable. The house salad was hood but this time lacked the presentation that it normally has. The ingredient were all there but seemed to be thrown together in a hurry.”
“This was a great find as my friends and I wondered around Ann Arbor. Only in Ann Arbor for the weekend and wanted to go to a couple places we don't have at home and this place fit the bill. We only had a couple appetizers but they were fabulous. The three of us split the small order of chicken bites and the stack of Diversifries. This is a combination of all their different types of fries and sauces for them. Plenty for us along with our beverages. Our waitress was very friendly and helped us decide on our choices for food and beverages. We would definitely return if in the area.”
“We had a great experience at Palio during a weeknight dinner. The restaurant seems to cater to a lot of locals, with many families dining together. Ambiance was nice and traditional, with the decor inspired by the Palio di Siena, with many of the flags for the competing teams. The food was delicious and prices were fair. The garlic bread with cheese was substantial and the tiramisu for desert was huge (and very tasty). I had the pollo alla parmigiana and highly recommend the dish. They do not have the traditional primo and secondo piatto, but instead, you can pick the pasta and then add the protein you prefer. I would definitely come back again if I am in the area.”
“Had barbecue combo B here with my friends. Our server was super helpful and brought us many rounds of small dishes. The portions are also really good, will come back!”

“Once or maybe twice a year we voyage to Ann Arbor from Boston tk take in our beloved Michigan Wolverines play in the big house and this is our FIRST stop. We love Regents Field. Friday when we arrive and again for NFL Sundays. Food, atmosphere, service, THE BEST cucumber gimlet in the business, all make this a 5 star across the board!!! Chicken Reuben, the wings, the fried pickles, the burgers. All LIGHTS OUT!!!! Thank you Regents Field, we love you!!”

“Anthony’s is the best deep dish pizza outside of Chicago. That said the location on Maple is just superior. This was my first time at the Packard location and while it was still delicious it was missing something and I don’t know what that something is. Will always love this place but my dedication is to the maple location. Also tried the meatball sub from this location after having one at maple and I don’t think I can recommend either. The bread is too soft and there isn’t enough cheese. We ended up putting it in the air fryer with extra fresh parm and it was much better.”
“Great food and drink here. I had the Buffalo chicken wings and they were nice and spicy and crispy throughout. I had the Wolverine Blueberry Wheat and it was slightly sweet and enjoyable.”
“Ham and turkey were delicious, along with all of the sides. We did have a problem we're we originally didn't get all of our order but we were able to call in and get it straightened out with their staff and then picked up the rest of our food.”

“I just tried their Brown Sugar Creme Brûlée and it was soooo good!!! I wanted another one right after... guess I should’ve gotten a large. The lady helped me pick it out because I didn’t know what to try. Great customer service! They earned a new regular!”
“I have enjoyed going to Real Seafood Company for well over a decade. Consistently yummy seafood. It might not be the best value (pretty expensive and portions aren't necessarily large), but we like the food, the ambiance, the service. It's an approachably nice place to get a good meal. I also like that you can kind of create different experiences for yourselves. Feeling more casual? A steamed mussels bucket with a side of fries is a great meal for $18. Or the seafood alfredo is good bang for your buck too. Feeling a little more upscale? Their twin lobster tails are consistent and decently sized. Lots of fresh and specialty fish options. Delicious bread and butter to start (that's really unique!). Large wine list!”
“Good vibes and good food! Can't say it's the best Mexican food I've had butttt I loved the variety they had in their menu. Awesome service as well!”

“Online ordering was straight forward and easy as heck, good deals with pretty good amount of options.Even easier than other restaurants!I ordered the thin crust bbq chicken pizza add bell peppers. It was good, I just wish the pizza was bigger lol.”
“Carson's is a quaint and comfortable restaurant with great service and delicious food and drinks. It's not on Main Street and is less crowded and parking is free right in front of the restaurant. What a great thing ?Vegetarian options: Not vegan it definitely options you would see other places. You do not go here for veggie meals as a group.Parking: In front of the restaurantKid-friendliness: Did not see kids, mostly dates and couples or adults eating during my visit.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, up front”

ORAM
“After rebranding and management change I am giving a five star to Azalea. Service was excellent and food was much better than oram.My recent visit was very disappointing. When we were seated, we noticed table was sticky. The food was not good at all it felt like it was heated in microwave rather than cooked after order was taken.”
“Food is AWESOME!!!Perfect for people who likes flavour in their food.My husband's "braised pork clear noodle" and my "spicy chicken" definitely surpassed our expectations by A LOT.⚠️ Warning: the chicken pieces still have bones, so be careful. Otherwise, it's perfect! ❤️”

“Pan-Asian spot tucked away on the SW end of Ann Arbor, right off 94. My husband and I go here occasionally largely out of convenience because it's really close to us! Never have a problem getting a table - it's usually just the right amount of busy. Plenty of parking on site. I think they might share ownership or have an arrangement for ingredients with next door Asian market Tsai Grocery. Now I'm not usually a huge fan of Pan-Asian restaurants (as I generally think if you're doing it all, you're not necessarily doing it well), but Godaiko has some interesting/creative fusion-y twists on their menu. It really is a choose your own adventure type of place. You could visit multiple times and have a completely different type of meal and experience each time. Last night we were feeling like sushi, and throw in some crispy chicken sliders, why not. (The sushi isn't the best around, but it's good.) Some of my favorite menu items I've tried: - Lettuce Wraps! Generous amount and not too salty (which I find with other places' lettuce wraps); pineapple is a nice addition - Beef Maki; very flavorful - Sushi Tuna Nachos; unique and I like the thin taro chips - Kobe Cheese Burger; the Asian part of this is in the dressing/sauce, a pretty decent burger if that's what you're feeling like - Shrimp Tempura Udon; crispy tempura (served on the side) and a clean tasting broth - Bento Box; one of these can feed 2, it's a lot of food! Decor and ambiance is nice, and kind of fun with Asian art pieces on the walls and ceiling (look up!). Service is good. Full bar (beer, wine, liquor, sake, cocktails) with a daily all-day drink special. Some of their cocktails are interesting as well - one time tried a lychee saketini and enjoyed. Usually I stick with beer, wine, or sake though. Food portions and drink pours are generous!”
“I called ahead to place a special order and they used the items I requested and had the juice ready to roll when I walked in. Very nice over the phone, helpful and efficient!”

“Impressed with the experience I had here. Food came out fast and hot, the atmosphere was nice, our waitress Brooke was very personable. Great to see this location improving. Would definitely go back my experience was a 5/5 and I loved the employee and how they stay on top of refills for all their tables. I recommend this restaurant to friends and family because I loves the experience and environment in this location.”
“Cool novelty items at a pretty nice price considering the fact that they're in Ann Arbor they're doing all right with keeping their prices low and they have everything you could possibly need parking's a bit of a drag during the day but pretty much a breeze at night and the staff will always acknowledge you no matter what keep it up good job”
“love coming in here daily. Most of the morning shift knows me by name when I come in and I love going in &the fact they take the time to remember my name n order makes it even better. The girl working sandwich line this morning with short lighter hair on lunch shift today. Friday march 5th Is amazing n calls me by name every time I come in. =) she's ALWAYS sweet n friendly (I'm pretty sure she is the manager)... great customer service. ill continue coming in daily ❤☺”
“I went to this place to get a poke bowl this evening (Feb 15, 2024). It's not my first time here, and I think their poke is pretty decent. However, something happened today that shocked me. I should have corrected her right away, but this is the first time I've encountered this kind of situation, so I just feel a bit weird but didn't realize it immediately.A young white lady took my order and seemed to either pretend she couldn't understand me or didn't try to understand what I was saying. I repeated myself, but she just asked her colleague for help and simply walked away, her colleague don’t have problem understanding and even she didn’t hear me clearly, she asked in a really polite way. At that time, there was only me ordering, and no other customers, so she shouldn't have been too busy to help me. I don't have a strong accent, and I'm confident in my pronunciation. I hope this isn't a case of racial discrimination, but if it is, it's very rude of that lady.”
“It is definitely pricey here on average due to everything being a la carte, but the food is really good. I find the omelettes in the morning tend to be worth it the most. Would recommend to give it a go and see if this place is for you.”
“Asked for Medium Rare, my steak was half well done and half Medium. Everything else was good.Update 3-18-24Everything was great. Server was great. We even took cheesecake home.”
“Has easily become one of my favorite lunch spots. Easy walk from work mixed with the delicious food and amazing service. I never get the name of the cashier but he always makes my day with his simple direct-ness. Plus everyone around generally talks at an indoor level and there's always different seating avaliable.Parking: Paid parking across the street and on the street around. Generally you'll find spots in the lot.”
“Food is delicious; the people who make the food are friendly and approachable. It's a nice place to get away for a few minutes and just sit down and enjoy a good meal. I personally enjoy the soup and bread as a complete lunch many times.”
“Great place.our host Sophia was great in going through the drinks and food different optionsGreat craft beers if you are into trying new things. I suggest getting a flight of their locally brewed beer.”
“I had the best birthday dinner at The Original Cottage Inn and our server was exceptional! Her recommendations were spot on, her gelato pick for my free birthday dessert was stellar, and our overall experience made for a perfect evening. I am sooo sooo sorry this restaurant will be sold and possibly turned into some high rise apartment building as opposed to keeping with the current, excellent restaurant fare. Try to get over there before it's too late! I'm going back soon.”

“Our server was very kind. Service was a little slow because they made the special French Toast with Rhubarb Strawberry compote on accident and had to remake our food. Ambiance was calm as it was a weekday lunch. I would return, the food was yummy and the coffee delish.”

“Wonderful food, wonderful people. My wife and I drive from Howell to eat here whenever we can. Best shawarmas we’ve ever eaten. This place is truly a gem and is a major treat that we always look forward to giving ourselves. Their home made soup is also off the charts amazing! Can’t recommend this place highly enough!”
“The food is tasty, hot and filling. The service is great. It's a comparable price point to the subway next door, but you're getting much better quality food and service here. My tummy is always humming with happiness when I step out. Definitely a hidden treasure on the Northeast side of Ann Arbor.”

“I am so happy to have this cute little bakery/coffee shop open in my neighborhood! We tried 3 baked goodies and all were delicious. Really good coffee too. ☕️ Welcome to the neighborhood, Q!”
“This coffee in a box is so so delicious, I don't know why it's so good. It was ready exactly when we ordered it. 10 of my friends and I could not make U of M's regular reunion dates so we made one of our own. I was only one of two people with a car, so it was crucial that I be on time for our tailgate. I ordered my coffee that morning with plenty of time to arrive and get to the game. I believe the app gave me the option of a pickup time which was so convenient. Staff was very very friendly.”
“Pass it on the road in Ann Arbor, had to stop and check it out. My friend, ordered chicken and I ordered fish and chips, catfish, with lots of fries, tarter sauce and maybe 20 ketchup packets! The fish was crispy and tender, not overcooked, with a good full flavor. The restaurant was just enough space, to order, the person taking the order was friendly, a few other people came in for too orders and we waited for over 10 minutes, was worth the wait. The atmosphere was pleasant for too go orders with a couple tables inside. A very nice place to stop.”
“amazing baked goods! i made an order of cannolis to pick up ahead of time to take to a work event and everyone was blown away. i definitely plan to return and try more of their products :)”
“Nice hangout spot. Could definitely see myself going back. The veggie sandwich didn’t have much to it, and the burger was just okay. But the crampus mule was delicious. They have some of the best mozzarella sticks we’ve had in awhile, and their fries and chips are very good. My friend had the poutine and seemed to like it.”

“Our first time having legit Detroit-style pizza and it didn’t disappoint (coming from an admitted pizza snob). We were in town for the Thunder Over Michigan air show. Being exhausted from the workdays event, we were searching for comfort in a delicious, warm pizza on a rainy night. Wanting to dine-in, we passed on a few other closer pizzerias to our hotel. Service was excellent & friendly (our server chatted with us about the airplanes and that her son was planning on education in the aviation field). Pizza was tasty and quick to the table. It was late evening; but, this did not affect the quality of service or the food. Well lit, clean interior and a cool place to visit. If we are ever back this way, we will definitely visit again. Thank you all for the excellent food and welcoming atmosphere.”
“Charming local place with descent food, descent price and charming local vibe. Would not necessarily drive long to eat here but convenient, descent food and price. I think i just described a dinner.. Would definitely walk over and eat here again”
“Great food and drinks and the staff treat you like family. Very cool place. I'm looking forward to going back! The beef frita and their fries was everything.”
“The food is tasty, hot and filling. The service is great. It's a comparable price point to the subway next door, but you're getting much better quality food and service here. My tummy is always humming with happiness when I step out. Definitely a hidden treasure on the Northeast side of Ann Arbor.”
“Wow, just had our first meal at Sava’s and it did not disappoint! The aesthetic is chic and trendy but not over the top. Service was excellent, Iman was an absolute gem! Iman was kind, helpful, and very sweet. For cocktails we had Chardonnay and Raki Sour—Raki Sour is a must!…sweet, but not too sweet, a favorite now. Tuna tartare was superb! Fresh and absolutely delicious; not a a bite left. Fish tacos and salmon for the main—both quite yummy and very fresh! Ended with the Chocolate Decadence; and decadent it was! If you like chocolate at all, this dessert is for you. Can’t wait to go back for another fabulous evening at Sava’s!”
“First Watch in Ann Arbor, Michigan has consistently impressed me across three visits. While the atmosphere may initially seem modern and perhaps a bit pretentious, the quality of their food speaks volumes. Their commitment to using fresh, delicious ingredients shines through in every dish, whether it's the spring special Hacienda hash or a classic BLT. The menu offers a diverse range of options to cater to different flavor preferences.Be prepared for a bustling crowd, especially on Sundays. Arriving early is advisable to avoid long wait times, which can range from 30 to 90 minutes. Despite the popularity, the prices remain competitive, making it an excellent choice for treating friends and family to local flavors without breaking the bank. Overall, I would rate First Watch in Ann Arbor a solid 8/10 for its impressive culinary offerings and inviting ambiance.Dietary restrictions: They will ask before ordering your meals but they are open to working with any restrictions you may have.Parking: More spots available then there are seats in the restaurant as it's in an outlet mall”
“The BBQ bao was my favorite, but also really enjoyed the gyoza as well. Food was ready pretty quick and good service. Also wish there was a hot noodle option, cold ones were OK. Will definitely come back again to try more.”
“I love the noodles here especially with pork belly! Food is delicious. But the times i’ve been here there have been a couple of servers that i’ve gotten that haven’t given me the best service I was looking for. Many of times some of the servers I got neglected us and stopped by like twice during the whole time we were there. But other than that, some servers are amazing.”
“Wheelchair accessibility: Steep incline up to door, very narrow entryway through first door, followed by a second door -- the manager helped us opening the door; there are no brass stoppers at bottom of doors to keep them propped so it was a three person activity wheeling my elderly mum in but then three men dining there jumped up to help her up the step to the front window table. One large step up to the front window-facing dining with sunlight, otherwise dining room is accessible and dark pub-y atmosphere. Didn't use the wheelchair-access bathroom but I'm told it's in the back. There are other bathrooms down a ~16 step flight of stairs. Host stored the wheelchair somewhere in the back while we dined.”
“You have to make the most of your experience by getting a bowl and ask for 2 tortillas on the side. Make two burritos from one bowl and share it with someone outside on a windy summer michigan day. If you sit inside, it's loud and busy and a mess.”
“Service was genuine, fast, and hospitable. What a great establishment with a great team. The only thing tastier than the fiesta lime chicken is the smoke show of a ”
“I have been to this place twice till now. Got a variety of different dishes in Buffet. It’s really good I like the ambience. Just one thing that was a bit irritating is that the waiter is always on our head. I mean let me finish my chicken or the naan. I had to say ‘no no’ to not take my plate. It’s really a mood spoiler. Other than that everything is great.”

“Took my wife here for the first time yesterday and we really enjoyed the atmosphere when we entered. You grab your own tray and tongs and then are able to walk through and check out all the pastry selections. We really liked that because we didn’t feel rushed to decide with it being our first time there and not really looking at their menu beforehand. Yes they may be on the pricier side, but for the fresh quality and ingredients we understood. We really enjoyed most of what we had, and the strawberries and cream croissant along with the garlic cheese bread really stuck out to us. Will be happy to make a trip back!”
“I just visited for the first time today with friends. All I can say is they left a great first impression, they were very friendly and helped me decide what to try. I ordered the Mexican bowl and it was so flavorful! My new favorite spot off Plymouth Rd. Thank you prime eatery!!”
