An Ann Arbor classic! Been ordering from here for a decade and it's always been great with reasonable prices. The soups and hotdogs are excellent; try their arepas for something unique!
Best cheap lunch in town! Great staff. It's one of the few remaining old school Ann Arbor business that's unique (there's probably only 20 left by my estimate). Started by a French cuisine trained chef who was tired of working for others 40 years ago. They serve hot dogs, yes, but mainly soups. Soup that is not apre-made nightmare from Sysco or GFS. Used to work downtown 10 years ago and this was a regular spot and the soups were always great. Stopped back in recently and the soups are still awesome and just like a remembered it. Glad to see they take credit cards now as well. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.
