“I’m a regular here as it’s near my workplace and has generous portions of a variety of Asian foods. Depending on my mood and how hungry I am, I regularly order the salmon nigiri, the spicy crispy chicken, the beef chow fun or the dumpling soup, although I’ve tried most of the menu at this stage. The photo is of one of the current specials (taiwanese rice roll with pork, egg, pickles, youtiao and meat floss) which I found really filling and tasty, and not a bad price at $8! The staff are almost always friendly and helpful, and the older lady who seems to be the boss seems sweet. They will sometimes make suggestions for new menu items, one of the younger Asian female staff members had great recommendations for the pad Thai special and fried flounder, and the older Asian lady who I think is the boss will sometimes ask for feedback about new dishes on the menu. The prices have risen a little within the past year or two, but I find that the large portion sizes and tasty food justify it for me. There are also some good reasonably priced items if you’re looking for a smaller meal too, like the classic salmon rolls, the soups, and the crispy chicken starter.
If it wasn’t clear already, this is one of my favorite local spots!“

“Last week my family was there and the young man with the long hair absolutely wonderful who brought us our food very kind professional classy it really made the experience more enjoyable. Our plates were very clean lately I have experienced going out to eat and there's a smudge or something on the silverware or the plates I'm very OCD and this was a very clean establishment especially in comparison with other Olive gardens I have attended“

“Awesome food and friendly staff. I did not see the lady in the advertisement though! She obviously became super famous and decided that showing up to work was no longer a requirement.
I ain't even mad gurl. I'd be on the same stuff.“

“I drove to Ann Arbor from Grand Rapids specifically for hand pulled noodles and found exactly what I was looking for. They had a huge selection of soups that were a considerable size for a reasonable price. I went with the roasted duck soup (with hand pulled noodles) with a mango drink on the side. It was really great watching the kitchen staff made the noodles by hand, and I am all about duck. The portions were large enough that I still had a snack for the next day.“

“Best cheap lunch in town! Great staff. It's one of the few remaining old school Ann Arbor business that's unique (there's probably only 20 left by my estimate). Started by a French cuisine trained chef who was tired of working for others 40 years ago. They serve hot dogs, yes, but mainly soups. Soup that is not apre-made nightmare from Sysco or GFS. On Thursdays and Fridays they usually serve a lobster bisque. They have about 8 soups to choose from; Italian Wedding & Tortillia are some of my favs. I don't get there much, as they are only open from 11:30 to 2:30 M-F. Three hours a day. Carry out only. No seating. For 40 years. Nothing lasts that long doing it wrong. They make their own lemonade too.“
