“Myself, son, daughter-in-law, and three grandkids went here for lunch. Despite being during lunch rush, the food came very fast, hot, and delicious. The cobb salad is huge, they made Micky mouse pancakes for the kids which was a nice surprise, fresh green beans (not canned), saganaki was excellent, and the Angus burger patties were flame broiled. Everyone left stuffed and satisfied. Friendly service, plates cleared often, filtered water, and the total bill was much lower than I anticipated. I will return and highly recommend!”

All of the staff were very professional, helpful, and friendly, the food was top notch, and the drinks were never empty. “A South Lyon staple that only gets better with time!

This is a a long overdue review in the making, so here goes…

I’ve been a patron at Witch’s Hat Brewing Company since their humble beginnings in the original, quaint location, and it has been an absolute joy watching them grow and expand over the years. It’s been great to be part of that journey. Like any business of this nature, it does come with sad moments, like seeing some long time staff move on, but that also opens the door for new comers.

I feel they offer one of the best mug club experiences ever, a real value. I appreciate that they still offer growlers and howlers for fill ups, in addition to canning.

The beer is—and has always been—fantastic, consistently offering incredible brews across the board. While I sometimes miss the nostalgic days of food trucks and bring-your-own food, adding their full kitchen six years ago was a fantastic move. Their current food menu is delicious and pairs perfectly with their beer! If beer isn’t your thing, or you just haven’t found your style, they offer a great selection of other beverages as well. Truly something for everyone.

Beyond the food and drinks, what truly makes Witch’s Hat special is their mission and deep commitment to the local community. I love volunteering at their events and seeing firsthand how much heart and care they pour into everything they do. If you haven’t been to “Fury for a Feast”, you should definitely attend. Enjoy live music and all they have to offer, while supporting local nonprofit organizations in the process.

“The donuts are the best I have ever had in my entire 33 years of life so far! My go to is the Cherry Chip donut, but I also like their Apple Fritters. They have chocolate milk and milk available to purchase with your donut as well!
They do have breakfast sandwiches and coffee available as well!
I have yet to try their cakes yet, but if you place an order ahead of time (about a week if not further out). I would highly recommend coming to the South Lyon Bakery!
I have lived in South Lyon over ten years and they have had excellent customer service every time I come in! I can even bring in my doggo to get some donuts as well! My doggo loves his donut bites!!!”

“I stopped in at this Kroger Starbucks at 2:20pm on Saturday, May 30. Nyxx was the barista holding down the store alone and was excellent as always. I visit this location at least once a week, and this is a place where there are very high maintenance and difficult customers and Nyxx is always super helpful and a pleasure to interact with.”

“Typically, we have a positive experience at the Culver’s in South Lyon. HOWEVER, after placing a simple drive thru order, we waited 25 minutes for the food. There were at least six other cars waiting for their orders as well. THEN, in checking the order before I drove away, I noticed the order was incomplete so went through the drive thru again. Took the manager two trips to our car BEFORE we had everything we ordered. For the delay and missing items, the manager shared two blue poker like chips and he said these are for your troubles today “boss” and walked away. It’ll be a while before we return!”
