I cannot say enough how wonderful my experience was when I held a private party at the South Lyon Hotel. All of the staff were very professional, helpful, and friendly, the food was top notch, and the drinks were never empty. I highly recommend considering this venue for any function where you need to hold a large group of people. The buffet was super everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you South Lyon Hotel!

My mom rented a room at the restaurant for a luncheon after my brothers funeral. She communicated with the manager on the number of guests via email. Originally said there would be 24 guests and a week prior she added more guests and the manager responded that he received the message. The burial started at 1pm and my mom said we would arrive around 2pm. The manager kept pushing for a 1:30 arrival which was impossible. 2:00 pm was even pushing it.
