Haven't tried everything, but love their apple fritters, cream filled long johns and donut holes. More of a grab and go vs. sit & enjoy bakery. Popular spot and they do start to sell out mid morning. We probably go monthly for our pastries!
I have been to many great bakeries that claim to have the best donuts, but nothing compares to the South Lyon Bakery!!! I just moved to South Lyon and needed breakfast and a cup of coffee (everything still in boxes). I bought a half dozen donuts (ate one and froze the rest) and an everything bagel sandwich with sausage, egg and cheese. The donut was off the hook, even after 15 seconds in the microwave to thaw it. Good donuts, friendly staff . Small town bakery, simple, but tasty donuts. A couple small tables if you want to enjoy your donuts there. I didn't try the coffee, but it smelled good. Definitely adding to my main stops.
