“Dropped in a few days ago while driving through South Lyon. This is a small but mighty establishment with indoor seating for around 10 people so mostly a takeout business. That said, I ordered enchiladas, rice, beans, chips and salsa and at there.The chips and salsa were quite good. I loved the salsa. Great flavor profile, not too hot. My enchiladas were tasty and a good portion overall, same for the rice and beans. I ate everything I ordered and was more than full when done with my meal. Although they do have a refridgerator with beverages, was hoping for a fountain soda or iced tea which they don't have. No problem as it was not an issue.The woman who took my order was very helpful and super friendly. The menu on the wall has plenty of options to consider. I'll definitely stop in next time I'm in the area. Can't wait to try something else on the menu.“
“First time. I don't usually expect much from chain restaurants for authentic Mexican food. I had the Carne Asada plate. Plenty of food. It was pretty good. The grilled jalapeno was a nice garnish. If you like jalapenos as I do, I highly recommend the jalapeno Margarita.“
“I’ve always had bad experiences at this location. BUT I was there for lunch today and it was amazing! Service was super fast, food was made correctly and the presentation was great. Food was hot and delicious. Even included plastic ware and sauce this time!“
“I was a little nervous about my decision after we arrived, because a good sign on whether the food will be good at a Mexican restaurant is first based off of their salsa, which was so-so. I didnt expect much, but when the meals came out I was thoroughly impressed! The staff is very friendly and always checking on you. I would just recommend putting a little more love into the salsa - maybe some Cilantro, garlic and onion. It was very tomatoey and not much flavor.“
“Had the opportunity to stop into Chino Loco today for a photo shoot. Owner Scott was incredibly appreciative, helpful, and hands-on with helping to get the best shots with limited space. Chino Loco is now in the remodeled plaza next to Red Dog near downtown Milford. All the food looked amazing! Would definitely recommend.“
“My family recently moved to Michigan, and we’ve been trying restaurants around Brighton to learn more about the area. El Arbol has the best tacos that I’ve had so far in Michigan. I especially love their brussels sprout tacos. They also make a great spicy margarita. I love dining there with our toddler because they are fast with service.“

“This is the somewhat still New Mexican restaurant in South Lyon. I had the chorizo and chicken enchiladas. Along with a carafe of margaritas. The food was exceptional. The enchiladas were actually filled and were loaded with cheese. The salsa was flavorful with a slight kick. I like a little spice and could use a little more here but the typical person will like this level of spice.The drinks were good. There are unique margaritas on the menu. We had the Michigan margarita which has a cherry infused simple syrup in it. There is also a full selection of classic cocktails. Expect to pay between $10-$15 for a cocktail. The girl behind the bar, Cali, was on her first day alone behind the bar. She did well and is on her way to becoming very efficient behind the rail. We did our typical eating at the bar. Tonight the bar wasn’t too full but it is a Wednesday evening. Update, we also had a pomegranate breeze and a tequila old fashioned. Both were good and I added pics.Overall the food and drinks were good. We will definitely come back. This is easily one of the best Mexican places in the area.“
