“Excellent service from staff, timely, fresh food put out regularly. The place is always being cleaned by someone no matter what shift I go in on. Only good things to say.Vegetarian options: You can build your own combinations and no meat.Kid-friendliness: People come in and dine in with children for short periods. Small location but clean and child friendly.“
“The service was fast, however when I asked for extra lettuce, it felt so I just got a regular serving of lettuce. That's not a big deal. What was a big deal was that when I saw him put the sour cream on it seemed a little liquidy and I went home and ate it and it tasted okay. About an hour later I got extremely sick. I was going to call them and let them know, never had a bad experience there before so I will inform them to check their sour cream next time.“
“We saw this place on social media and knew we wanted to try them out ASAP! So, we made plans to go. The only day we were free was Saturday. We thought we'd chosen a time (1:45 ish) where it would more than likely not be too busy. Well, not the case at all. They were very busy and we chose to wait the 1 hr they told us it would take before being seated. My wife gave them her number to contact us when our table would be ready. Apparently, they sent the message, and she missed it. What we didn't like is --- I'm assuming bc of how busy they were, and bc we didn't respond asap -- like, within minutes, they gave our table away to another party. We ended up waiting another 30 minutes after being told only 10 more minutes. As for the customer service, it was decent. Ambiance was nice.Food, it was ok. My wife ordered the Barria tacos. I took a bite and was glad I didn't order them myself. They were dry, and the meat was over seasoned, IMO.The menu, however, is vastOverall, they were ok.It's a good authentic Mexican food experience.check them out.“
“Such a great thing when everything comes together in wonderful harmony! Taques is one of those gifts! The atmosphere and the aesthetics are so cool! Relaxing, vibey, colorful, fun and the room just dances along with the food and drinks! They will have an outdoor area to dine as well when the warmer weather comes around. The service is friendly, inviting, welcoming and they help to make the experience even better! As good as that is, the food is the star of the show! Everything was delicious! From the steak alambres, to the tempura shrimp tacos, my gosh, so good! The tempura shrimp tacos will be on repeat! We also had enchiladas and the birria tacos and it was all mouth watering and satisfying! They have house made salsas, great chips and the queso chorizo dip did what it was supposed to do! There are so many items I will be coming back to try! Such a pretty place with great food and lovely, fun vibe! See ya soon!“
“Well finally a truly incredible, authentic Mexican restaurant in Michigan!! WOW!! Ordered: 1) guacamole 2) Barbacoa tacos 3) Birria tacos4) beef stew with vegetables 5) cheese enchiladas Everything was delicious, delicious, delicious! I was so impressed with how tasty and amazing everything we ordered was. Our waiter, Jonny, was so friendly, professional, and efficient. This is the best Mexican cuisine in Michigan, and my all time favorite in the country! Ten stars ! Looking forward to coming back soon“
“This petite, classy cool, modern Mexican restaurant has been a favored destination for lunch and dinner! The dishes are familiar yet uniquely prepared and presented. We are smitten with the flavors coming out of the kitchen at Maya. The atmosphere is simple refinement-nothing excessive, everything you need. Service is always friendly, timely and considerate of every diner’s needs. Excellent cocktails as well and happy hour is, well…happy!“
“It looked like the servers were closing up for the night, so I double checked they still for sure wanted us to eat. They did! And they were so kind and welcoming and offered information we didn't know without having to ask. I have been told if you see el pastor on the menu, order it! I knew enough on my own that lengua is a rare treat so yes definitely ordered that and got a beef Taco. All superb! All cooked perfectly. We were just happening by from an hour and a half trip. Now we know that when we go to Westland again we go to El Mariachi! I'm so bummed I didn't see the elote on the board at first because my little boy loves that! So we will have to come back. Thanks!“
“My daughter and I were looking for a good Cuban sandwich and found this place. After reading the other reviews, we knew we had to place an order here.As soon as I walked in, Bob, the owner, greeted me by name. He was contagiously happy! He is a delight to talk to, and happy to explain how everything is made in the store. We got take out and it smelled so good we almost didn't make it home. The sandwich was excellent, we will definitely be back for another and to try out his other creations.“
“This is an authentic taco truck right here where it belongs, across the street from taco bell. Burritos are it. Tacos are okay. Beans and rice are really nice. Staff is amazing!Seriously great compechanos and asada protein choices. Also the quesedilla add meat with sides ordered crispy is a mind blowing value“
“The service was excellent. I loved the chip dip trio and they also gave me a fresh bag of chips to go. But the tacos were awful. I tried the chorizo, carne, and pastor. The chorizo one was the only decent one. The meat in the carne was so flavorless and the pastor was so tough. I saw some other dishes that looked good and wished I would’ve tried the enchiladas.“
“I ordered the molcajete and Wow ? it was delicious... delicious and super well served! Without a problem, 3 people eat from there.Very friendly staff! We will definitely go back!!!Finally a Mexican restaurant that does taste like Mexico!! “
“Stopped in today for lunch. We usually sit on the patio in the summer, today was our first time sitting inside. Service was top tier, Stacy was so sweet, very personable and took AWESOME care of us; she’s truly a gem! The mimosas were delicious! The food portions were massive! We actually split a club sandwich which was fresh and delicious! We also had a Caesar salad with a side of crispy chicken, which was also delicious! The salad was fresh, the dressing was good, the chicken was fresh, juicy and the breading was actually crispy! We enjoyed ourselves, the playlist was nice, the vibes were good as always. We don’t have any pictures because we literally tore the food up LOL. Thanks again Stacy :)“
“The food was great! I had the meatloaf special and it was very interesting. The meatloaf had the taste of a normal meatloaf, but instead of serving it with ketchup, it was served with gravy. I was skeptical of the combo, but it was a really great combo, especially paired with the mashed potatoes. The service was great, and all the waitresses worked together to help if the other was busy, so we were always taken care of. I will say the biggest complaint is that you will smell like the cooking when you leave the building. It was a small price to pay for a great meal.“
“We love this restaurant! Good food, good drinks, good service, and best of all the happy hour is terrific. There’s no other restaurant in Plymouth/Livonia area that has a better happy hour deal. My husband and I have officially found our family’s Mexican restaurant!“
“Stopped by to check out the trucks at the food truck lot. I ordered 2 burritos. The food was fresh made but seemed to take a long time. I asked for no cilantro and I got what seemed like extra cilantro and no onions. It was even written on the wrapper but not right. Disappointed and the rest of the food was fine but unremarkable.“
“This place is clean with great fast service the food quality tastes better than other local Mexican restaurants. I will be coming here regularly for tacos with the family and going to the their Mexican grocery store next door afterwards. Also very affordable for dining with kids.Kid-friendliness: The kids menu here is high quality and large portions for a very reasonable price. Props to their interest in feeding kids well.“
“I had the hard shell taco and rice set and the cheese nachos. Choose spicy sauce. It was very delicious. Beer is not sold in stores, but you can purchase it at the liquor shop next door and bring it in. The store staff was friendly and the store was very nice.“
“So very, very good! Had a loaded burrito and gringo quesadilla. Some of the best Mexican food we have had in all of SE Michigan! Service was good, too. Regarding ambiance...well I think we will do carry out next time. Metal silverware would have been very helpful for people eating in the restaurant. But we will definitely be back for the food!“
“I absolutely love this place. I honestly don't even go to Chipotle anymore. The food is flavorful and the staff is so polite. Great price. I just met the owner yesterday, he was so friendly. I prefer to support local business and I definitely will continue to come back because they deserve all of my business.“
“Dined in for dinner on a Saturday. No wait for 2 people. Chips and mild salsa were served fast. Drinks were out shortly. Food was tasty and out quick. Food had mild flavors but I prefer this to a kick in the head spicy. Refills were offered before drinks were all the way empty. English was not the server's first language and needed help with translation but was on point and very friendly.“
“It is one of my favorite places to eat and that is why I have no hesitation in recommending it.But unfortunately the experience that a group of friends and I had on Friday, March 22, was very bad. The waiter named Miguel served us and he was very rude to us, literally, he silenced my friend when she wanted to order for one of my friends. Later, when ordering takeout, he yelled at us because he had already closed the account. The stress that his anger and attitude caused us got to such an extent that we were afraid to ask him for more things since he always said “assssh, oh my God.”Ah, but when it came time to ask for the bill, well he changed his treatment and included an 18% tip, which for us, wasn't fair to give him.I hope you can talk to this man and recommend that he have a better attitude since for these reasons, many people prefer not to return.Obviously I will not stop going, but what is certain, if this Mr. Miguel touches me, I will ask that he not attend to me.“
“Great place to get a quick meal. They are an authetic Mexican restraurant with fresh ingredients. Nothing is greasy or leaves you bloated afterwards. Some items are gluten free. Their street tacos are a little small compared to other places I have been to. But don't let that fool you. They are flavorful and filling. Their taco shells are made fresh. You see them making them right when you walk in. Everything was clean and nice. For two people for lunch was under $15. Service was fast and kind. We will be back!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free items.“
“I love the family and food at Teresita's. If I'm in the area, that's where I eat. Wonderful, cheerful people who love and appreciate their customers. They ask and listen to what you thought of the food which is obviously delicious; always fresh and hot.“
“I really like this place. I live 500 ft from it and used to order carryout almost every weekend. Unfortunately the new online ordering system doesn't have the full menu or the ability to customize your order (black olives instead of green, no huge raw onions, added toppings, etc) and when I call it in, the order is almost always incorrect, so we haven't ordered since that change. Hopefully they fix it so that I can resume ordering carry out.“
“I want a restaurant where I can go and enjoy a meal with my husband and my boys. Being a young parent it can be hard to find a happy medium for the whole family. This place is perfect! Our food was delicious and fresh! Authentic Mexican restaurant for sure!!!! The never ending chips and salsa are fire ???.I had a mango margarita, it was to die for! Absolutely delicious. Our waiter was Silvio he is the greatest! We're a big family, it can be intimidating to serve a big party, but he was fantastic. He made a point to connect with all of us. He didn't have too, but he did. He made sure our salsa and chips baskets were always full. The restaurant was clean and the decor was pleasing to the eye.Bathrooms were also clean and stocked.“
“Best Mexican restaurant in the area. I highly recommend the marinated pork tacos. I've eaten in dozens of Mexican restaurants and never tasted pork so good it is truly unique family recipe. I like several other items on the menu as well. Reasonably priced, delicious food, friendly staff and ample free “
“First visit at the Border Cantina. We were the last guests for that evening. We were treated so friendly and kind and the food came out very fast. It was delicious! My Sizzling Fajitas with chicken and beef were very good. The meat was tender and the seasoning good. The portion size was on point. I will take a picture next time ?We for sure will come back soon.“
“The staff don't speak English as a first language, making it a bit awkward. They are fluent enough to serve with a beautiful and genuine smile though. That smile was almost as wonderful as the food. Being so close to a major intersection can make getting in and out of the parking lot painful. But I truly recommend this place for flavorful, authentic Mexican food. Yum!“
“Hadn't been to El Nibble Nook for almost a decade. Went there last night and had a great time. The food was good, the service by Curtis was EXCELLENT. We have been El Nibble Nook customers for over forty years and have always enjoyed their food and, most importantly, their margaritas. They are OMG too good!! We forgot to take pictures but take my word for it, their Caliente, Fajitas, and Enchilada Rancheros are delicious.“
“I am Mexican and I approve of the molcajete, it is very delicious, it has a lot of meat, the authentic tacos are very well served and the piña loca is also very delicious. Personally, I didn't like the margaritas but the micheladas are delicious!! The service is good and if you save your ticket they give you a 10% discount on your next visit. Ask for the spicy tomatillo sauce, it is very delicious for those who like it spicy :)“
“It usually is very good. Today's meal was soooo salty my husband had to send it back, first bite. It was super bland the next go around.. I GUESS, they were ready to go..It was close to closing. We'll try again during Happy Hour, when they're ready to work.“
“Stopped here with my brother for lunch. Excellent salsa and chips. However, the enchiladas and chimichangas were perfection. Not too big, not too small. Choripollo was a life-changing experience. Why are you reading this? Get yourself over there now!“
“Seems like a pretty chill place.Things I liked: staff was super friendly. Smelled and looked clean. Menu was behind the register with large print making it easy to ready. Food was fresh, all the cheese was melted and very flavorful.Things I'd like to see: organization at the front of the store. Yes, it was clean but it seemed cluttered as if someone started stocking the fridge but got distracted about half way through. Seating, I'd prefer to sit down and wait. I'd really like to be able to eat in there but understand that regulations/licensing may be a factor.I would absolutely recommend.“
“Husband picks up from here on his way from work otherwise it’s quite a drive- Personally, I prefer eating in versus carry out- I love their barbacoa ( beef cheek) Seasoned and juicy- Had piratas and tostadas- side beans and guacamole- All very tasty and filling- Husband ordered 2 sides of refried beans but we there would have been plenty for 2 with just one order- The guacamole is expensive for the amount that you get but it was tasty -The piratas were tasty but not what I was expecting- Basically a soft shell taco a piece of tomato, a chunk of avocado- cheese was all at the bottom ( like a taco- )I thought they would be like mini quesadillas -No grill marks like a quesadilla-They didn’t look anything like the pictures that other customers posted of them-I didn’t care for the red salsa - sweet and no heat- Had a weird tasteThey do a great job at wrapping the tostadas for carry out- They don’t get tossed around, steamed in the styrofoam container-“
“Just visited this restaurant tonight. Ive driven by a thousand times and finally decided to give it a shot, I was very happy with the food, service and prices! Definitely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants now. I'm looking forward to filling up my punch card (and my belly) with them to get 50% off my bill. I encourage all you Mexican food lovers to check them out, you will not be disappointed!!!“
“I have to say I was quite surprised by the crunchy beef tacos I purchased. These were the best Taco Bell tacos I have ever had! Never thought I would say this about a location in a mall. The beef filling was nice and hot with a decent texture. Usually, the meat is lukewarm and mushy but not on these tacos. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and the sour cream just the right amount. This Taco Bell got it right!“
“The burrito cochinita was Soooo yummy! Best I've ever eaten. The other ppl in our party were also very happy with their choices. The rice is meh, ok. The waited was very accommodating also. Def recommended.Vegetarian options: A good amount of vegetarian options“
“Came in after a long day at work. I sat at the bar and just relaxed for a bit. The bartender was friendly but seemed pretty busy. I got the Chinichanga d Camaron. It was piping hot and very good. The house made hot sauce is quite spicy but flavorful. Significantly better than On the Border.“
