“Me and my friend stopped in for lunch after riding the nearby Milford Mountain Bike trail and this food was exactly what we needed after an intense ride. Everything tastes fresh and homemade here! For example, I usually never touch the chips and salsa when I have Mexican, but after one taste of the house salsa here I couldn't help myself but to keep going! My entree was the Chorizo Burrito and it was utterly fantastic! The last time I had Mexican this good was in Sedona, Arizona and have been desperate for another high quality Mexican spot since then. I have found it!!! I also must mention our waiter, Eduardo, who was amazing, friendly, made plenty of suggestions, and always kept our drinks full! I want to give this place 10 stars!!!!!“

“I was a little nervous about my decision after we arrived, because a good sign on whether the food will be good at a Mexican restaurant is first based off of their salsa, which was so-so. I didnt expect much, but when the meals came out I was thoroughly impressed! The staff is very friendly and always checking on you. I would just recommend putting a little more love into the salsa - maybe some Cilantro, garlic and onion. It was very tomatoey and not much flavor.“

Relaxing, vibey, colorful, fun and the room just dances along with the food and drinks! They will have an outdoor area to dine as well when the warmer weather comes around. The service is friendly, inviting, welcoming and they help to make the experience even better! As good as that is, the food is the star of the show! Everything was delicious! From the steak alambres, to the tempura shrimp tacos, my gosh, so good! The tempura shrimp tacos will be on repeat! We also had enchiladas and the birria tacos and it was all mouth watering and satisfying! They have house made salsas, great chips and the queso chorizo dip did what it was supposed to do! “My family has lived at Hopsital and Cooley Lake for 2 years and never tried GJ because the outside didn't look like much. We figured it was another Coney place. Boy, we're we wrong! we have gone twice this week. The food is great and the service is outstanding. We found our new place to eat!!“

Authentic, clean, and time + cost efficient. My brother put me on to here a few years back and now I am a regular. “Surprisingly ended up here because one of the other Mexican restaurants we went to closed for the day. Some decent Mexican that can be an alternative to your go to around the area.Chips and salsa: they bring out mild salsa initially, so make sure you ask for hot or green if you want some different flavor. The mild was a bit sweet for my taste.Horchata: the large is huge, share it with your significant other or kiddos. Be aware that there are no refills on refrescas or horchata. Decent amount of cinnamon flavor, not overly sweet. Would get it again.Tacos: I had an al pastor, chorizo and lengua. lengua was tender and tasty. Al pastor was flavorful and slightly sweet from pineapple. Chorizo was a pass for me.My wife had a combination with mole sauce on an enchilada and that had a unique flavor. Nice change up for anyone wanting to try a mole sauce.Looks like they have specials on certain days of the week and I would say that can make it more affordable for those looking to save some money.“

“Had the opportunity to stop into Chino Loco today for a photo shoot. Owner Scott was incredibly appreciative, helpful, and hands-on with helping to get the best shots with limited space. Chino Loco is now in the remodeled plaza next to Red Dog near downtown Milford. All the food looked amazing! Would definitely recommend.“

“My kids and our entire family absolutely love this place! Best bubble tea and frozen yogurt in the country. My favorite flavor is the pomegranate. Wish they'd come out with a few new fruity type yogurt flavors.Amazing stuff, just a little pricey!“

“The food was great! I had the meatloaf special and it was very interesting. The meatloaf had the taste of a normal meatloaf, but instead of serving it with ketchup, it was served with gravy. I was skeptical of the combo, but it was a really great combo, especially paired with the mashed potatoes. The service was great, and all the waitresses worked together to help if the other was busy, so we were always taken care of. I will say the biggest complaint is that you will smell like the cooking when you leave the building. It was a small price to pay for a great meal.“

“Our family stopped In there today to try for the first time. We had 2 Large steak burritos, 1 veggie burrito bowl and 2 churros. Food was amazingly good. The establishment was clean. The staff was friendly. All the food options looked and tasted fresh. Churros rocked. Heck I might stop in just for those alone. I would highly recommend this place over the large Corporate chain options out there. Hope these guys stay around for a long time“

“So very, very good! Had a loaded burrito and gringo quesadilla. Some of the best Mexican food we have had in all of SE Michigan! Service was good, too. Regarding ambiance...well I think we will do carry out next time. Metal silverware would have been very helpful for people eating in the restaurant. But we will definitely be back for the food!“

“I have been here twice now and the food is wonderful. Both times I got enchiladas. They fill the plate with everything you would want from beans to guacamole. Tastes incredible. Good menu for my sister who likes seafood more than anything else she gets shrimp tacos and said they were delicious. “My father came in from out of town in the evening and I said we should try Don Juan, neither of us had ever been. We shared a Botana and the combo 12 and it was fantastic! The decore was a bit dated but that didn't hamper our dinner in any way. There's multiple TVs showing a varietyW stations. This would be a good place to watch sports. “Great place to get a quick meal. They are an authetic Mexican restraurant with fresh ingredients. Nothing is greasy or leaves you bloated afterwards. Some items are gluten free. Their street tacos are a little small compared to other places I have been to. But don't let that fool you. They are flavorful and filling. Their taco shells are made fresh. You see them making them right when you walk in. Everything was clean and nice. For two people for lunch was under $15. Service was fast and kind. Our food was delicious and fresh! Authentic Mexican restaurant for sure!!!! The never ending chips and salsa are fire ???.I had a mango margarita, it was to die for! Absolutely delicious. Our waiter was Silvio he is the greatest! We're a big family, it can be intimidating to serve a big party, but he was fantastic. He made a point to connect with all of us. He didn't have too, but he did. He made sure our salsa and chips baskets were always full. The restaurant was clean and the decor was pleasing to the eye.Bathrooms were also clean and stocked.“

“We dined here on a busy Friday night. Food was fantastic. The guacamole was on point. We all had meat free meals for Lent and all of them were great. I would definitely recommend dining here. The margaritas were perfect, just strong enough. Our server was Annah and she was one of the best we've had anywhere. Reading your customers is a skill and she's so great at it. “Husband picks up from here on his way from work otherwise it’s quite a drive- Personally, I prefer eating in versus carry out- I love their barbacoa ( beef cheek) Seasoned and juicy- Had piratas and tostadas- side beans and guacamole- All very tasty and filling- Husband ordered 2 sides of refried beans but we there would have been plenty for 2 with just one order- The guacamole is expensive for the amount that you get but it was tasty -The piratas were tasty but not what I was expecting- Basically a soft shell taco a piece of tomato, a chunk of avocado- cheese was all at the bottom ( like a taco- )I thought they would be like mini quesadillas -No grill marks like a quesadilla-They didn’t look anything like the pictures that other customers posted of them-I didn’t care for the red salsa - sweet and no heat- Had a weird tasteThey do a great job at wrapping the tostadas for carry out- They don’t get tossed around, steamed in the styrofoam container-“

“I am Mexican and I approve of the molcajete, it is very delicious, it has a lot of meat, the authentic tacos are very well served and the piña loca is also very delicious. Personally, I didn't like the margaritas but the micheladas are delicious!! The service is good and if you save your ticket they give you a 10% discount on your next visit. Ask for the spicy tomatillo sauce, it is very delicious for those who like it spicy :)“
