“I love this place as a bar, and the drinks are always great! My friend wasn’t feeling well, so we stopped and sat outside on the patio even though they had already closed. The staff were so kind and brought us water and Tums.

“What a gem! Echelon is truly an amazing experience! In fact, our experience was so remarkable, we ate there twice while in town. The restaurant is gorgeous, a real feast for the eyes that gives a significant nod to the building’s rich architectural past while pulling a warm art deco design in a space fitting for an architectural magazine. As amazing as the space was the entire service and food team. Our servers – Jenn on night one and Ella on night two – were so friendly, knowledgeable and everyone went above and beyond to ensure our experience at Echelon was something we would never forget (and we won’t!). We even got visits from the kitchen with Chef Joe VanWagner coming by to greet us, expediter and professional forager Marc Jacob Qualls-Sanchez coming by for a long session on his foraging expertise (amazing!), and even their new tiki bar (coming soon!) manager Max giving us the DL on that space and renovations. We felt like royalty! For a special treat above and beyond the food, service, and overall experience, the Echelon team passed around menus that night to have all the front and back of house staff autograph it for us! I am so excited to add this to the unforgettable memories of our trip to Ann Arbor. It’s absolutely no wonder that Echelon was nominated for a James Beard award. Every bite, every conversation, every story, every sensation was top-shelf!“

“2nd time visiting, it was just as excellent as the first trip. The paella is deliciously crispy and my favorite- the bacon wrapped dates. Service has always been great as well, and they have a lot of options for dietary restrictions in each section of the menu. Be prepared to spend some money but it’s worth it!“

“Went out here last weekend with a couple friends after work. The place has a laid-back vibe, not too loud, not dead either, which I liked. Bartender was friendly and didn’t rush us even when it got a little busy. Drinks were solid and priced about what you’d expect for the area. I tried a whiskey cocktail and it was made well, nothing fancy but done right. Seating was comfortable and we were able to actually talk without yelling. It’s the kind of bar you could come back to for a casual night or to watch a game. Overall, a pretty decent spot.“

“Went for a birthday pre-dinner to try something different suggested by family. The atmosphere inside was good with a great modern look. The server was good and asked needed questions to make the experience great while informing us on best selections. I ordered a light dish that was good but I would venture to try a different dish next time that I think I would've enjoyed more. The spring roll wrapped appetize that had the Tahiti sauce was amazing and I will have that again. The dessert menu wasnt too apealing but overall the experience was good I would probably order a heavier dish next time.“

“Unfortunately I didnt have time to try the pizza but it looked freaking amazing! My husband and I planning to come back. We were there for a going sway party. We had the area in the front blocked off. It felt like hanging out in a front porch with friends, drinking, laughing, and just enjoying ourselves. The door guy was funny and the younger girl at the counter was super nice, eventhough the line was really long! I definitely recommend you give this place a try!“

“The bartender Kenny has served me every time I have come to this location and I absolutely adore them. He is kind, friendly, and can keep a wonderful conversation while running all over the place and making drinks. This is the only restaurant I have seen operate with 1 server and a bartender that also serves tables and they pull it off well. The morning staff are the only reason I continue to return I've only been here 3 times and I'm already known by first name and my order and drinks are memorized. I truly am made to feel important and valued by the amazing team“

“Overall, this place is good but not what it used to be. The cheese board needs some work, very hard beard, mustard didn't make sense, pickled green beans and I think it was beets...? The chicken sliders were dry, both bread and chicken. The fries were good.“

“We were fortunate enough to stumble upon Vinology in Ann Arbor while planning our engagement party. Eric from Vinology made the planning process seamless for us and put in so much extra effort to answer our questions with fast responses, even after hours. The venue and staff were absolutely AMAZING, we got upgraded to the Bubble Room and were blown away. Our guests had a wonderful time and the food was delicious as well. Vinology even allowed us to store our decorations overnight and had them ready for us to pick up the next day. If I had to do it all again I would pick Vinology!“

“I dined with my 4 year old & two 13 year olds. We all shared two baskets of fries, a Club and a tenders app. Including a beer & Pepsi the total only $50. The real 5 ⭐️ goes to the service staff. I’ve truly never experienced better. My toddler dropped her water glass which shattered under our table. Before I knew what had happened the staff were at our table to help. We stood out of the way where someone helped me dry her pants & replaced her water. The staff cleaned the mess then moped/dried the floor within ~3 min. It was AMAZING. Thank you!!“

“There's no pretense here. It's a bunch of tables at Whole Foods. It's great for a reasonably priced crafty beer or glass of wine. There's lots of food to choose from from the store, a coffee counter and smoothie bar too. I wouldn't come for the atmosphere but would for a place to sit, talk, meet, or do some work.“

“TLDR; TBP is a very intimate venue with excellent shows. (@Steve Hoffstetter) The Blind Pig did a great job managing our ADA/accommodation and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Regardless of your disability, (or lack of disability), if you have a chance to visit The Blind Pig- do it! You won’t regret it. They went above and beyond, (where so very many other businesses fail) was with our accommodations; as my mother used a cane to get around after breaking her hip. While yes, they legally are obligated to because of the ADA, however, where some places do the bare minimum, like leave people hanging, or make them feel like a burden for asking, TBP makes you feel truly welcome. Faith made sure my phone calls were returned in a very timely fashion (I purchased the tickets a day and a half before the show- she was definitely on it, to respond so quickly with care). Our seats were marked reserved, there were multiple people who could direct us where to go and who to contact (if needed) upon arrival. There’s been something that happened in our family several months ago that hasn’t brought joy to any of us; and seeing my mother relax and laugh, like she hasn’t done in months, made the extra night special. Thank you Faith, Molly, and all the other employees of TBP for making it a truly memorable experience. I can’t wait to see another show there. 💕“

“We stopped into The Blue Leprechaun to snag a quick bite to eat before we left Ann Arbor. The place was pretty empty when we got there as it was kind of late, I had my two girls with me. Jay was amazing, treated us like family, played with the girls while they waited for food, did his best to accommodate all three of us. Just an amazing overall experience which I expect nothing less from anything that Perry has his hands on. highly recommend this place anytime that you're in Ann Arbor. The food is good the atmosphere is amazing and the staff treat you like family. thanks as always guys!“
