“I was in town to photograph the Detroit Free Press Marathon. Some of our photographers stayed at the hotel so we decided to eat there while we had our team meeting. The food was delicious! I got the Hollywood Bacon Cheddar burger with fries. The service was excellent also! It was a nice and cozy atmosphere.“
“This is in the Courtyard Marriott. And it's good because it's so consistent in it's quality on all levels. Good, quick service and an enjoyable and in some cases hip menu. And this is the case at all Courtyard Marriott properties. The Bistro is one of several reasons why I usually stay here on business and sometimes for other occasions.“
“I came to this place through unfortunate events sadly, but the woman, whom I presume is the owner (she's the only person I saw working there) was very kind and hospitable. While the place is a little off putting being cash only with nothing indicating this before you sit down, they do at least have an on site ATM, and the base tender does let you know before you order about it being cash only. Inside looks like a typical local watering hole. Seats are comfortable, as I was stuck waiting several hours for trailer repairs. Nice place where even the regulars don't mind striking up a conversation with a stranger. Ample parking throughout the day as well. Makes a good chili cheese dog too“
“This restaurant was recommended to me by a flight attendant. On our way to pick up our cars from the parking lot, I mentioned that my friend's flight was delayed two hours and I was looking for a restaurant. Capital Bistro did NOT disappoint. Although the restaurant was crowded, the waitress acknowledged my arrival and seated me right away. The bartender, who had a full bar of patrons, also noticed me while I was sitting at the table. She came to ask me what she could do for me. I told her I would prefer the booth. So, she started to bus that table for me, and then nodded to me when it was ready. The booth was great, because I could put my backpack next to me and work on my phone without people wondering what I was doing there alone. I ordered a Black Horse Raspberry Ale and the bacon cheddar burger with fries. Despite it being quite crowded, the waitress brought my drink right away. The food arrived in a timely fashion not long after. The beer was cold, and the food was delicious! I also had asked for a glass of water which was refilled three times. So very nice. She even refilled it after I had paid the bill and still had time to kill (many waiters and waitresses. Ignore you after you have paid.) Great service, great atmosphere, great food!“

“This is a great place to stay and park your car if you are flying out of DTW. The rooms were spacious and clean. The entire staff (valet parking attendants, bell service and front desk) were very helpful. The only concern is that we stayed on December 25th and their on-site restaurant had run out of a number of entrees. However the staff was very flexible and found a good alternative. There is a TSA security checkpoint right next to the front desk.“
“Let me start by saying that Walters is a small business that has been an installation in Romulus for years. Love the atmosphere and the bartender Amy was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about anything you might need. The beer is cold and the drinks are cheap. The only downside..and I mean only...is there isn't a billiard table. Nonetheless, if you are looking for a small local and family-owned and operated place to have a couple of drinks. Look no further“
“I got to the club i expected the 30 cover and the 10 valet charge. The service was very good and the bartender was friendly, but I expected some engagement from the ladies. Only one girl I believe her name was dawn, could have been someone else very pretty girl in a tight blue outfit. She came and talked to me and was engaging but the rest of the girls didn't even try to be engaging. That was the only disappointing thing other than that I had a great time. I will be back and hopefully it will be a great experience.“
“Quick stop in DTW between flights. I've been in and out of this airport weekly for layovers for the last 6ish weeks. Grabbed a seat at the bar. Erika was working, and I'm positive she's the best bartender, employee, most friendly human this airport has. I just ordered a glass of wine, but I sat here for 45 minutes and watched her hustle, speak politely to everyone who sat down, work hard and she consistently checked on everyone. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!“

What stings is the post 9-11 airport prices that mean I'm forking over money as if I were in a Michelin-starred restaurant in Manhattan for things I could otherwise get at Panera.The waitress is Wonderful, and very patient with my groggy 'i slept five hours in the last 48' brain and has decent suggestions and didn't even blink when I needed something changed.Vegetarian options: There are some, but this is definitely a place that caters to omnivores, and they don't do substitutions really at all.Dietary restrictions: There is turkey bacon available in lieu of pork, but gluten is pretty prevalent and nothing is exactly healthy or low sodium, say, unless you want the yogurt and fruit.“
