“I love this bar! You can find me here at least 3 times a week for lunch. The food is so good! I love the atmosphere here. There isn’t any other bar I’d feel comfortable enough to go to alone. At Marlows Chill and Grill so many of the customers feel like family because the staff are all so warm and inviting. “My bartender, think his name was Jack, absolutely a gem. My partner and I have OCD and we are super anxious about it. Jack was so patient with us and nice about everything. The waitress was a little grumpy, but everyone has a bad day. Service was still very good, but no service with a smile. Patrons were just normal people having a nice time. Good Folk.Parking: The tiny lot fills up fast, there is some street parking in the little neighborhood. She is quick to attend to our needs, and she’s always extra kind and attentive to our son and our dog (when the patio is open). “Awful busy this trip, but it happens. Security did opt to go through my backpack by hand, however it was a good call on their part. My laptop, tablets, charging cables, and meds all packed in pretty tight…it looked a fright in 3D scanning machine. They did handle with care and tried to put it back how it was. Only issue here has been lack of clear signage for Lyft/Uber pickup locations.“

My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. What stings is the post 9-11 airport prices that mean I'm forking over money as if I were in a Michelin-starred restaurant in Manhattan for things I could otherwise get at Panera.The waitress is Wonderful, and very patient with my groggy 'i slept five hours in the last 48' brain and has decent suggestions and didn't even blink when I needed something changed.Vegetarian options: There are some, but this is definitely a place that caters to omnivores, and they don't do substitutions really at all.Dietary restrictions: There is turkey bacon available in lieu of pork, but gluten is pretty prevalent and nothing is exactly healthy or low sodium, say, unless you want the yogurt and fruit.“

“My fiancé and I came here with a friend when the lions played Monday night football. They had 1 single waitress and the place was packed. She was running around like a chicken with her head cut off, we felt awful for her. She didn’t even get a second to breathe. She was super nice and surprisingly attentive considering the amount of tables she had and how busy she was, but they really should at least have 2 people waiting on tables at night. If you have never been in the military you wouldn't understand about hot coffee or cold water. I been to El Mar,OPM, Seaway,GBY,Da Mark. “Stopped in for Taco Tuesday. Sat at the bar and was greeted by Nicole. She explained the taco specials ($1.99 tacos and $3.99 taco salad). I ordered 3 beef tacos and my wife ordered the taco salad.My tacos were so full and tasty that I was full after the 3 I ordered. My wires taco salad was also filling according to her. There are also pool tables in another area.I came in here for just the 2nd time the other day. I ordered a tequila mixed drink and then a beer. The price was pretty good. Keep in mind, that other than salty snacks, there is no food.Overall, this place is good for getting a shot and a beer. It's pretty reasonably priced and has kind of an old saloon vibe.“

Their is a pool table to keep people entertained, along with some other games in the back.They do not serve food, aside from bagged chips and nuts. Their beer is cheap as well. To go along with that neighborhood bar feel, the bar is located on a residential side street, which I assume would make the bar Grandfathered in, due to zoning laws. “Had my first experience at Taylor AC today. I sat at the bar, was immediately greeted and asked what I wanted to drink. The menu prices reflect pre-Bidenomics. I ordered the BLT on white, crispy bacon, no mayo and I was not disappointed. More quality bacon than most other eateries and a fraction of the price. The Romaine and tomatoes were fresh, perfect portion to the bacon. I highly recommend for lunch or dinner. One of the best experiences I've had in several years. 5 stars.“
