“Ive been here a few times to delivery throne chairs and marquee numbers for a party there event space is huge and they’ve made some updates to the flooring. The space can hold a lot of people and every party I’ve delivered to here seem to be a good party and have a nice turn out.“
“I was in town to photograph the Detroit Free Press Marathon. Some of our photographers stayed at the hotel so we decided to eat there while we had our team meeting. The food was delicious! I got the Hollywood Bacon Cheddar burger with fries. The service was excellent also! It was a nice and cozy atmosphere.“
“This is in the Courtyard Marriott. And it's good because it's so consistent in it's quality on all levels. Good, quick service and an enjoyable and in some cases hip menu. “No frills, regular restaurant. I didn't appreciate the place until well into my adulthood, but my elders have loved it and supported it for much longer. Solid breakfast, friendly service, reasonable prices. It's hard to expect more given the location. I'm happy they seem to do well. There isn't much competition in the area, so it's a plus that the food is decent. I love the way they griddle their breakfast potatoes.“

“This restaurant was recommended to me by a flight attendant. On our way to pick up our cars from the parking lot, I mentioned that my friend's flight was delayed two hours and I was looking for a restaurant. Capital Bistro did NOT disappoint. Although the restaurant was crowded, the waitress acknowledged my arrival and seated me right away. The bartender, who had a full bar of patrons, also noticed me while I was sitting at the table. She came to ask me what she could do for me. I told her I would prefer the booth. So, she started to bus that table for me, and then nodded to me when it was ready. The booth was great, because I could put my backpack next to me and work on my phone without people wondering what I was doing there alone. I ordered a Black Horse Raspberry Ale and the bacon cheddar burger with fries. Despite it being quite crowded, the waitress brought my drink right away. The food arrived in a timely fashion not long after. The beer was cold, and the food was delicious! I also had asked for a glass of water which was refilled three times. So very nice. She even refilled it after I had paid the bill and still had time to kill (many waiters and waitresses. Ignore you after you have paid.) Great service, great atmosphere, great food!“
“We had a group of 25, and we did call ahead to let them know we were going to come a week in advance. The staff were excellent. The server was polite, organized, and prompt. Our dinner was good. The price was good. The restaurant was clean. I was very impressed, and I am thankful to the staff who made our dinner special. I'm sure serving 25 people at one time is hard, but you wouldn't know it with our server. She acted like she was happy we were there. The cooks made our food, so we were actually eating all at the same time. Again, it was great!“
“Wednesday evening we came in for dinner, a horrible waitress. When a large table of men came in, she completely forgot about us. We had to get up and ask for our bill, we tried to take it up and pay it, she raised her voice and said NO!! I will take it up. So much for getting anything extra we wanted. If we go back it will be taken out only.“

What stings is the post 9-11 airport prices that mean I'm forking over money as if I were in a Michelin-starred restaurant in Manhattan for things I could otherwise get at Panera.The waitress is Wonderful, and very patient with my groggy 'i slept five hours in the last 48' brain and has decent suggestions and didn't even blink when I needed something changed.Vegetarian options: There are some, but this is definitely a place that caters to omnivores, and they don't do substitutions really at all.Dietary restrictions: There is turkey bacon available in lieu of pork, but gluten is pretty prevalent and nothing is exactly healthy or low sodium, say, unless you want the yogurt and fruit.“
