“We stopped by shortly after we landed at DTW. Hungry family of travelers needing sustanance for the drive up north. Arrived just before closing on a Saturday. “The Bistro in the lobby of the Detroit Metro Airport Marriott is an okay place to post up if you need to. The food is really nothing special - hotel prices for very basic snacks and meals. But the atmosphere is nice, with recently renovated seating areas (including couches and many TVs showing various sports). If you want to catch a game while staying at this hotel, the Bistro and lobby is an okay place to do so.“

The French dip was tasty dipped in the cup of au jus, loaded with slices of ribeye between a crusty bun. Fries were nice and crisp.

Classic lake pointe burger thick and juicy, no condiments needed, as it was full of flavor with a side of tater tots.

Our friend got the bone in wings with hot buffalo sauce. He really liked them, and said the pizza here is great too.

“I tried really hard to find Google reviews for this restaurant but I could not locate it so I will leave my review here. I'm a little late but I'll keep my promise. My boyfriend and I had lunch here yesterday and it was such a nice experience. The '80s and '90s theme is so cool! and the girl behind the counter who took our order was as sweet as could be. I wish I couldn't remember the name of the store owner, and I should have written it down, but what a genuine nice guy! The food was superior! I had the chicken and bacon ranch wrap which was so large that I had to take half of it with me. My boyfriend's Ringo Burger was so delicious and so fresh tasting. We also had the cajun fries and he generously offered a cup of French onion soup for us to try. All I can say is delicious! I would definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back again! I ordered a Dolly chicken sandwich and, since I'm not keen on tartar sauce, I asked for it to be omitted and for a small side of big boy sauce instead. This spot is right down the street from my grandkids house. I have been there many times with them but I did not put two & two together when we ordered our carry out.
