The Reuben sandwich was good, not great, and the Stevie's Wonder chicken sandwich was excellent. Service was prompt and friendly, and the portions were generous, maybe too generous. The French dip was tasty dipped in the cup of au jus, loaded with slices of ribeye between a crusty bun. Fries were nice and crisp.

Classic lake pointe burger thick and juicy, no condiments needed, as it was full of flavor with a side of tater tots.

Our friend got the bone in wings with hot buffalo sauce. He really liked them, and said the pizza here is great too.

Girls were all friendly service with a smile! Kudos to them for working in bikinis! Definitely a vibe!“

“I like many of you, like using the review score when making purchase decisions. I never just look at the score. I look for the number of reviews and I try to find helpful reviews to give me more incite into what I may be getting into. My wife works in a business where the reviews really matter for bringing in new customers. She often talks about the long-time customers who keep returning but have never left a review. Those are really the voices that should matter more to people who want an honest review of the company they are looking into. Unfortunately, even though I like looking at reviews, I seldom leave one unless I'm very satisfied with the company or really disappointed. In both cases, I leave my emotions aside and tell things as I experience them. This means that if everything wasn't perfect, I don't ding them for minor stuff. I give people the benefit of the doubt because we all have those days when we aren't at our best. When I read bad reviews about restaurants that I frequent often, I wonder about the person leaving the review. I feel that they are either competitors with malicious intent, someone who didn't try to listen to resolve whatever issues they perceived to be happening, or simply someone who's looking for a reason and is too hard to please in the first place. So with all that out of the way, let me get to the Lim's Star review. I love Chinese food and it's one of the first things I looked for locally when I bought my house 10 years ago. There are several in what I would consider my drivable area. Lim's Star is in my top 5 or higher depending on what dish I'm looking for. 10 years means I've been coming there since before the current owner. Do I miss the dinner rolls? Not really, since I get better quality food and personalization of meals on request. The new owner knows us on sight and remembers what we like to order. He even allows us to modify the ingredients to our liking. He is very friendly and will engage in small talk to get to know his customers better. We eat at or buy takeout from Lim's Star at least once a month, sometimes more. Has everything always been perfect? No, but I really can't recall the last time I was dissatisfied with my order or service. Based on my long review, I'm hoping you can tell I have had many enjoyable meals from and experiences with Lim's Star. Seriously! If you are on the fence or willing to try something new in your area, start with a dish you know to compare. I doubt you will be disappointed in your comparison. Mark J.“

“Supernatural is pretty amazing! The staff are really cool, friendly, and did I say cool?! Seriously, I have been going to Supernatural for a little over 8 months (I never knew it existed before then) but I am glad I made that first visit!! The food is great, the beer is amazing!! Shadow Realm is one of my favorites (Oatmeal Stout) and being British by birth, trust me when I say I'm a bit picky when it comes to beer. These guys have it nailed. BTW... Li'l Nicky... You rock! I just tried the Ginger Jalapeno brew that you made me for my birthday and that stuff should be on tap... hopefully it will someday soon! Keep doing what you do guys!! The whole crew (for all of the locations) are some of the best people I have brought into my life. Our customers are like are family! What I love the most is that Kerbys is a family owned company. They are supportive, and like our delicious koney dogs, always there when you need them! It's truly a place I personally call home. “My household has had covid for 3 weeks. Yesterday I was finally able to go out and run a couple errands, and Culver's sounded so good. I ordered my usual burger, and was in a hurry to get back home before it got cold, so it's my fault for not checking it, but when I got home I found out they gave me someone else's burger. I wasn't going to go back out in the snow, so I just didn't have lunch. So disappointed!!“

“I have wonderful memories of the Maurice Salad at Hudson's and yours was one of the best I have ever had! I also loved the warm pita bread that came with it. Delicious! I brought two of my lady friends with me and they also had the Maurice and felt the same way I did. We will spread the news and also be back! The salad had a nice amount of meat and cheeses and of course pickles. The dressing was outstanding and there was enough to bring almost half of it home for my lunch the next day! “Just came to say I enjoy the time I spend at the Wintergarden. The Wednesday wings are great and I get them almost EVERY Wednesday, the Sunday half off pizza is also a great deal and quite tasty. The service is usually good, but it depends on who is working. I am usually there during happy hour so my review is based on that. I have three bartenders I particulary like to see, Brei, who unfortunately for me, has branched out to better herself and is not there so often anymore, Alison, who knows my wing order by heart, and Sam who kicks butt and takes great care of me.“

“I come there often. My food is generally good, but never hot, especially the soup. Most of the waitresses are very nice and good at their jobs, but some are not good at follow up. Asking if everything is ok, do you need anything, more beverage, etc. And you are about the only restaurant in Livonia that doesn't offer any of the 0 pops. Even the smaller restaurants that can't afford the cost from the companies to add it, have cans of 0 Pepsi, or 0 Coke or 0 A&W root beer. They are so much better than diet pops. Please consider it. “The parking lot was mostly empty for a Friday dinner time. The lobby was nice and clean and my main complaint was the lack of staff. Only one person handled the register, hostess and waitress position. We decided to stay even though we had to wait in an empty restaurant. The food was surprisingly good and hot. The turkey with potatoes saved the evening. If they could get more staff I would have given 5 stars.“
