“I love dining at The Great Commoner. I'm always thinking about my next visit and what to try next. Ahmad the waiter from our most recent visit made the experience even more special. If there was an Olympics for waiters he would be the Usain Bolt. He went above and beyond to make sure my company and myself were comfortable and set with our orders. He has that old school sincere hospitality with a modern and fun teist.“
“This will sound fake but it’s not I promise it was just that good, The food was amazing, we were a whole group of 7 and everyone’s meal was amazing, the vibe was beautiful and they’re fries and sandwiches were honestly fresh. Their coffee was good too, we were surprised no one else was there“
“Was in town for business and was recommended by a local. Ended up going every morning I was in town and can’t wait to go back for the next week I’ll be in town. Amazing service, remembered my order after my FIRST visit! Food was great and prices are perfect.“
“This place sets a very high bar for service. My wife and I visited on a recent trip and thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. From the moment we walked through the door we received spectacular service. Our waitress was incredible and took great care of us. The drinks were amazing as well as cigar selection. We will definitely be back!“
“I was doubtful when I made the order, as most places cost to much for what you get. But this was by far THE BEST SUB I EVER HAD. We ordered the seafood sub and was so worth every bite. They were friendly and helpful on the phone and were very good to my son when he went in to pick it up. Make this shop a franchise so much better than any sub shop I have ever been too. But this may be way because it's not a franchise. A MUST TRY.Parking: Best Sub shop ever but hard to find place to park“
“I've been here a couple of times for breakfast. I love the old diner vibe this place has and everyone is extra friendly. They seem to have many regulars which makes it feel more homey ? I've only tried their breakfast and it's good, nothing flashy but it's good. I'd certainly return for the food but I enjoy the atmosphere.“
“Kid-friendliness: My granddaughter has an amazing time coloring on the work sheet that was provided for her and she also got a Chance to hang up her picture what a wonderful experience for myself and My family first visit this won't be the last timeWheelchair accessibility: Yes wheelchair accessibility theirs also a large restroom for a wheelchair“
“I have come for dinner here the last 2 years for both Halloween Weekends and Holiday Nights (aka in October and December). Both events are so much fun. The staff of Eagle Tavern does a good job of getting us all into the atmosphere of the Tavern and what we would've expected in the 1850s as far as food and service goes. Eagle Tavern is completely able to handle my gluten free requirements even during these 2 huge events. Most of the food that is provided are gluten free. The one major exception is the dessert course. For the last 2 years, during both events, the dessert has been an Apple crisp. It has been made of apple pie filling with an oatmeal crisp on tip. If anything, it has looked better then what the main dessert has been. During the events, there is a bar available for people to purchase a drink or 2. Each time there has been 2 custom alcoholic drinks and one non-alcoholic. The prices have been reasonable. There is also always a show along with the dinner. Normally it has just been the "travelers " working to earn their dinner. The 2 fall events are always fun. I will definitely be back for them in the future“
“Food was good. Set up like a cafeteria where you just get some stuff thrown on your tray and pay at the end. Problem was there were about 150 people getting food and one person checking everyone out. Unfortunately we had to wait 20 minutes just to cash out after getting food. Other than that food was good staff, tables were mostly clean. Maybe we just came in on a day when they didn't have enough cashiers. Some the pop was not working in the machines and the soda drink area was kind of dirty. Also it's kind of weird that they don't have trash can so you can throw away your own food. Everyone seemed confused about just leaving their trays and plates on the table and waiting for someone to come clean it up.“
“The kitchen at Bambozals is always acomindating. Working late, we're always able to call Mary Anne who is always so caring about our order! The Michigan Salad is the best..chicken..cranberries, Blu Cheese..love it!I notice, though sometimes the blue Cheese cranberries and walnuts are scarce! Those are the best parts of the salad that blend the chicken and lettuce together..I like to see them and taste them in this wonderful salad!Nice American friendly bar in Dearborn!“
“I haven't eaten at Carter's hamburgers since November of 2019 when I was hit by drunk driver leaving me partially paralyzed walking to my Explorer. It isn't what I remembered but it was good food. I think it's been there for about seeing as a rolling Stones since I guess the beginning of time. Just kidding. The ladies are fantastic. They get things done as fast as they can. They have a restroom. It's not very handicap accessible. If you're in wheelchair or walker that's on the first floor in the parking small. The corner is busy but either like greasy hamburgers or you don't. If you do. Carter's is a great deal, but the ladies are second to none and the red velvet cake is homemade by Denise and oh man yummy! Okay one complaint of mine is the modern day jukebox. It's such a tiny place and if somebody doesn't agree with the music that you like, they're going to say something. But if they had a jukebox and if I had the money, I'd purchase one. I want an old 45 but your $0.50 in or quarter and watch the record get picked up and put on and play it that way. I don't want to hear digital content this kind of places. What remind you of what you would watch like on Happy Days with the roller skate servers in the parking lot and that kind of place deserves an original 45 pressed on wax rock and rollerParking: It's in a very tough spot on West outer Drive and Southfield service drive. If you get on the left, you're getting on the Southfield right before 94. If you stayed to the right, it takes you to Van Born Road. There's parking just down the block if you find it. Hard to park in the tiny lot but they've been there for a long long long time. So either know the place or you don't. Is it for a tourist? No is it for local people? Hell yes it is“
“Meet a couple of friends for a brunch meeting. Brioche French Toast was delicious. Chicken link sausage was absolutely one of the best things I've ever had. The server was knowledgeable and made sure we had everything we needed. One thing we needed was WiFi, which Bob Evans did not have.Parking: Found a spot easily“
“I can confidently say that Tuhamas stands out as the undisputed champion of meat shawarma. With friendly service and an inviting atmosphere, Tuhama’s has undoubtedly earned its reputation as the go-to destination for the best meat shawarma in Dearborn.“
“They are always busy in the morning but if you place an order and give them 10-15 minutes it’ll be done and ready to go! Great people and great food. It’s a two in one and you should definitely try there zaatar cheese and veggie mashrooh mixed by far my favorite dish!“
“We brought my parents and our meal was outstanding! The value and quality of the dishes here are unmatched. My wife said it’s one of the best meals she’s ever had in her life. The staff accommodated our food allergy as well! Book your reservation now, you won’t regret it.Dietary restrictions: We had a garlic allergy and the team made sure we knew which entrees were garlic-free!“
“Went this past week with my dad to try the fish and chips and we were not disappointed! I love the specials they've been dropping this past year so we've made it a tradition to try each special at least once. Still dreaming about their chopped salad though:( the staff is very kind and attentive, they made sure we had everything we needed. And as always the vibes are always top notch at brome. My favorite place to go for a quick delicious bite! Yall are amazing“
“Appeared to be a diamond in the rough. Coming home, very far from home on way from DTW, happened to stop off I-94 for late dinner, nothing else seemed to be around. First glance thought bar food...NOPE, best Lobster ravioli ever! Really nice place, great service! Homemade ranch dressing too! Great atmosphere!“
“Backstory: My mother and I grew up in Michigan but moved to Arizona in 2010. We come back to visit every 1-2 years for this, that, or the third. My biological father wanted to take us to dinner and he really likes they shrimp so we came here. Review: We walked in, were greeted within 30 seconds. We were sat within a few seconds of that in a booth. Our waiter came by within a minute. We all ordered and that was that. The food came out within 10-15 minutes... salad was 5-7 minutes if that. My ribs were delicious and the shrimp were good too. Thank you Kim for your sweet personality, kindness, and wonderful customer service. Also, thank you Nolan for your speed quick response to my request for tartar sauce, such a sweetheart...and a cutie too lol anyway, great recommendation! I would love to come back! The ambiance in the restaurant was chill and relaxing !“
“went and got a chicken shawarma from the food truck on Grand River and livernois, I wasn't pleased with it I'm not used to my chicken shawarma being made like a panini. the chicken was a little dry and he could have put more garlic on it. but I'll be back to try other things. I'm just not used to my chicken shawarma being hard or crunchy.“
“Classic table service with seasonally prepared dishes. Hummus with Kalamata olive pesto and on site made pita bread was hard to want to share. Roasted salmon with couscous, which was a tad dry, and lovely Swiss chard hit the spot. Large by the glass wine list with many great choices.“
“This restaurant has such a cool atmosphere! The decor is fun and adds to the experience. Food was delicious and there were lots of options to choose from. I’d recommend any burger. Also their staff were incredibly kind and helpful! They have a little store section near the front where you can buy tshirts, mugs, hats etc.Vegetarian options: Veggie burgers and salads, sides to choose from too“
