“This place is awesome. The service is incredible. But the food was even better! The interior of it takes you back to a simpler time. Family owned and operated. The server was the sister of the cook. The coney dogs didn’t stand a chance. Fries were so crunchy and delicious. While there, the folks sitting to the left of me ordered breakfast. I’m definitely coming back just based off of how good their hash browns looked. 10/10. Definitely coming back!“

The sushi is phenomenal—exceptionally fresh, with rice that’s perfectly seasoned and cooked just right, which makes all the difference. If possible, request indoor seating facing Congress or Woodward Street. The views add another layer to the experience and make for great people-watching while you dine.

“My girlfriend and meself stopped in randomly after the Eastern Market and had one of the best meals and experience we’ve had while visiting Detroit. The Tokyo muscles were the best muscles I’ve ever had. We had a classic Bloody Mary and their hot sauce really brought some heat! We got the Carmel cookie coffee as well and that was swell as well. The environment and staff especially made the experience even better. We had Rhonda as a server and she was very pleasant and helped give us recommendations that turned out to be very tasty. Overall we were glad we chose to eat at Vivio’s and will definitely be back next time we wander to Detroit.“

“Zeff’s Coney Island is a little gem hidden in the heart of Eastern Market! I’ve been coming here for 20 years, and this place doesn’t miss a beat. The food is always consistently good, which keeps me coming back. My favorite item on the menu is the Greek omelette with feta, tomatoes, and onions – it’s simply delicious! The gyro meat is the perfect blend of lamb and spices, making it a must-try.

The portions are generous; I often cut mine into thirds and enjoy it for several days. If you’re looking for a reliable spot with great food, Zeff’s is the place to be!

“Five stars easily. The Detroit Club is more than just a restaurant or hotel, it’s an experience from the moment you walk through the doors. The energy is warm, elevated, and welcoming, and the entire space is absolutely beautiful. The aesthetics, ambiance, and attention to detail make it feel timeless and intentional.
I was dining alone, and one of the chefs, Chef Tony Rave, personally came out to check on me, which honestly made the experience feel even more special. That level of hospitality and care stands out. The food was incredible, flavorful, fresh, and beautifully done.

“Between doctor appointments, a friend & I had lunch at Olga’s Kitchen, located in Woodhaven, MI, yesterday. The food was really good & Sabrina, our server was excellent. We received some of the best service I have ever had and I wanted to recognize her. Sabrina was very personable and very, very attentive to our needs.
