Coffee shop style restaurant serving a variety of breakfast and lunch staples. The informal atmosphere is in line with it's downtown location.
Service was great, food was delicious and reasonably priced. Clean bathroom too!
Probably the only place where can get breakfast for 2 people for less than $30. This is a casual, no frills spot to grab a quick meal. The food its self was just okay, a little oily, but the portions are good and the food came out really quickly.

Ham Shop is a small, fast, and affordable breakfast place located in Downtown Detroit, right in Greek Town. It offers delicious food like fantastic pancakes and a corn beef sandwich on an onion roll, which is cooked to perfection. Despite some service issues and being short-staffed at times, the waitresses are friendly and professional, ensuring an enjoyable visit. The service may be distracted, but it often delivers outstanding results, with hot coffee and quick refills. The portions are large, and the prices are more than fair for the quality. Although the building may be run down, the iconic Detroit breakfast is worth a try, especially with new owners bringing hope for future improvements. There is convenient street parking and plenty of paid garages around, and the restaurant has no steps to get in, making it accessible for everyone.
