“Ate in the lounge and had fantastic service. Lovely wood smoke smell in the place. Tried 4 different red wine between my wife and I, all terrific. The small plates we tried were all excellent. My favorite was the whipped salted cod and my wife loved the maitake mushrooms. The mains were also great, the halibut was our favorite. The sherry for dessert was great.

Overall, a surprisingly good meal with fun and knowledgeable wait staff. Best meal I e had had in a good while.“

After speaking with them they corrected the situation and assured me it was a one time thing. I appreciate the fast response and them taking the time to talk to me. “I LOVE this place. Have been going since it was CK’s and it’s still just as good to this day. Shop is always very clean, everything is stocked, food is incredible every time, and the owner is a really nice guy. He always makes sure you leave happy. This is definitely the part of my week I look forward to when I’m working downtown. I could eat it every day.“

“The atmosphere was good. The food was amazing even the veggies! The drinks are too expensive not reasonably priced that and playing a snipet of the birthday song was awful. While we understand the atmosphere Sahara should've understood the occasion and let the song play it was 1 song. Too much money spent to abruptly end and it's rude. I will return but for the food and atmosphere no drinks.“

“They had a few items listed vegan such as the crushed lentil soup and the falafel, hummus, tabouli appetizer. They offer a beyond burger and the menu stated to order it on the ciabatta to make it vegan. The condiments are served on the side. I went with the beyond burger and it was cooked great. I prefer a bit of char on mine but it was good. Updated from previous review on 2019-11-12“

“I have a question I love Bucharest but today the hummus I taste it and it taste weird and 2 when I smelled it smelled like fish water i involuntarily couldn’t help but keep gagging and I vomited i swear you guys hummus has never smelled that way! “Went to Holy Bowly for the first time today while on lunch. I was met with great service, the cashier answered any questions I had about the food. The food tasted delicious and was fresh and hot. It was the best lunch I’ve had in a long time. The restaurant was very clean. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I have actually already told many of my friends about it. I can’t wait to go back and try a different bowl combination!“

Love how the fries are super crispy on the outside, and pure fluff on the inside. It's how all fries should be.

The Schwarma is outstanding as always. Really enjoy the bite of the pickle with the abundance of garlic.

“Excellent experience. Mike's catered an event for us and everyone was delighted with the quality and quantity of the food. The delivery was on time and everything tasted fresh. There was so much food that we didn't even notice that we were missing a tray of fruit. Unbeknownst to us, Mike realized the oversight and went back to the restaurant to retrieve it. We appreciated the extra miles, literally, he put into it to make sure we were happy.“
