“This place is awesome. The service is incredible. But the food was even better! The interior of it takes you back to a simpler time. Family owned and operated. The server was the sister of the cook. The coney dogs didn’t stand a chance. Fries were so crunchy and delicious. While there, the folks sitting to the left of me ordered breakfast. I’m definitely coming back just based off of how good their hash browns looked. 10/10. Definitely coming back!“

“Love this place. Never disappoints me. Im stuck on their bowls rite now. Every time I tell myself im try the chop cheese or their burger, but when im at that window,,,, I can't help but to order one of their bowls. And if the wife and kids are hungry, then 3. Steak + chicken + Shrimp.

“We had a phenomenal experience at Lena. We sat at a high top right along the kitchen. The staff was truly exceptional. Nolan and Mike were great and the chefs were beyond knowledgeable and friendly. We had the tinned fish, perch and clams. Everything was fabulous! Unfortunately we did not take any photos but will certainly be back and would highly recommend.“

“My cousin wed their beautiful bride last night and their original post wedding brunch location fell through at the last minute. Groups of us came through right as Supergeil opened. “If I knew how to post a picture to this review I would. The food looked amazing but when I lifted the potatoes up from my breakfast bowl it was so much grease. Edit. After speaking with them they corrected the situation and assured me it was a one time thing. I appreciate the fast response and them taking the time to talk to me. Really nice group of team members and I appreciate Michael for speaking with me face to face.“

“The Ham Shop truly feels like a hidden gem in Detroit, and I’m so glad I stumbled across it! From the moment I walked in, the service was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The food came out fast and hot, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. And I HAVE to mention the lemon rice soup, SO GOOD, I had to make a request to have one to go!

The owner was also incredibly friendly and personable. He took the time to chat and made the whole experience feel so welcoming and personal.

I left feeling full, happy, and already wanting to come back. This place genuinely made my day! I’m so glad I discovered it and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend checking out the Ham Shop in Detroit!“

“This place was delicious!! The Jamaican Beef Patties were mouth watering. We split veggie fried rice and the curry chicken. Both exceeded our expectations. The food was flavorful, portion size was great. Friendly and attentive staff. Can’t wait to come back!“

“So disappointing. Yearssssss ago, this place used to be my go to for Mediterranean dishes. After 2020, this place has consistently gone down hill. At first it was "hit or miss" but its all "miss". So much so that I went to be bed hungry vs eating my carry out. It's so unfortunate because they used to be so good. Yesterday was my last try, I bow out.“

“I recently visited this restaurant for the second time. The 1st time, I only went to the bar & got an appetizer and knew I had to go back. This time, when I went back my friends and our parents joined. They loved it just as much. Our server, Mo, was wonderful and made suggestions that were perfect. I was glad to hear that they have other locations. I'll definitely be back. In case anyone was wondering, the chicken Tika, jumbo fried shrimp, and shrimp stir fry were all delicious!!!“

“Now this place is amazing. It has everything you want. The food is fantastic. Lots to pick from and the guys behind the counter are not your typical store food chefs. They are making art with food. Your mouth will know the difference. Plus they have a full store of goods and drinks. It's a one stop shop for basically anything you need. The staff is very cool. One guy reminds me of Sal for Deadwood. It's fun just to visit. They also deliver if you don't want to go there. Reminds me of some southern cooking. One guybhas 25 yrs in the place cooking and creates some amazing dishes like chicken alfredo stuff potatoes. Or Lamb chops. Wingdigs are out of this world. Full kitchen with lots of choices.“
