“At a recent family birthday celebration, I needed appetizers at the last minute. I went to the right people for help! It was no problem for Kal and Ann! They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. You won’t be a “just another customer” ~~ You’ll be a FRIEND!“

“I have been going to Olga's for more than 20 years in downtown Birmingham, Troy at Oakland Mall, and now usually in Royal Oak. For years the spiral cut French fries have been my favorite fries at any fast casual chain. Yesterday I was at Royal Oak and the fries have changed for the worse. There is a new batter style and they were too salty. Please bring back the old fries!!!“

“All excellent except for the lettuce! Brown and limp! Every time! I do not get my favorite any more, the chicken swarma salad, because the lettuce is NOT GOOD. I do not come often anymore because of the lettuce which is important. Am a stickler for quality. I have been a customer since the beginning when you started in the back of that bar by Tiger stadium. Someone in management needs check out where you are getting your lettuce. I just hope all the locations are not like this.“

“I went to the Middle Eats on Eureka Rd in Southgate after the gym. My doctor put me a pretty restrictive diet due to my diabetes. I admit I was kind of apprehensive walking in because it’s been a real chore to stick to it when I have to eat out. I walked in and a young lady named Kayla R was at the counter. I apologized to her saying I need to ask questions about my order and I’m on dietary restrictions. She was incredibly nice and understanding. She asked me what I could and couldn’t eat and even made suggestions on how to make my meal that would comply to the restrictions. She even said she could make a phone call to find the exact ingredients of the sauce if I wanted her to. I was so impressed. In the end I got a bowl that complied to the dietary restrictions and it was very good. The other employees were also making suggestions and when I apologized for being a pain they all said they were happy to help. This wasn’t my first time there and it definitely won’t be my last. I can’t express my gratitude on how they all went totally out of their way to accommodate me. Thank you Kayla and staff!“

“Came to the food court sad and tired after I missed a return date on my clothes, guy called me over for a sample of his shawarma and I really liked it. He then threw a piece of bread on the ground because a bird had gotten in the food court and the bird swooped down and ate it. “My husband and I tried Tazikis in Florida on our Honeymoon, we couldn’t be happier when we found this location, So for Valentines we drove from Romulus to Rochester Hills Last Night Just To Get Our Favorite Food that took us back to our Honeymoon, we even brought our food heating bag to keep it all warm till we got home. “Just tried your new Ft Wayne location yesterday. Having lived in Saudi Arabia for years, your food is as close to legit as I have found since moving back to the USA!! The chicken Schwarma and tabouli were soooo good!! The falafel was the best I have ever had!!! The pita bread was excellent that the Schwarma was made with!!! We will def make the 1.5 hour drive to go back and do it frequently!!!“

“If you see any reviews of 4 stars or less, do yourself a favor and disregard them. Every single time I have been to Zarzoor it has been an absolute amazing experience. 10/10 every time with the absolute best service! Next time you’re in town, do yourself a favor and give it a try. Make sure to also ask for Rima as your server - she’s spectacular and made the experience even better AND Make sure to ask for the Lentil Soup!

The dressing is so good mixed with the tzitziki - it's always delicious. I have no photos because I eat it too quickly before I remember to snap a picture!“

“Just moved to the area & tried them for the first time about a month ago and They have the BEEEESSSSTTT chicken shawarma EVEEER. Every time I get one it has the right amount of everything. Literally portioned perfectly. Garlic sauce in every bite, pickle and the right amount of chicken. You can tell it’s all white meat as well. I don’t too much care for dark meat in shawarma. Last night me and my boyfriend got a platter right before closing and it was fresh and hot !!! They have fresh puff bread too. Man o man was it amazingly good. My ONLY complaint is that I wish they put more shawarma chicken/steak.. they were a little stingy with that but other than that it was delicious. I eat here weekly now 😩😂😂“
