The brisket tacos - Braised & Confused just overjoyed my taste buds. The pork taco -Korean Bbq was great. Fun place. Enjoyed some house margaritas and chips with guacamole dip. “At a recent family birthday celebration, I needed appetizers at the last minute. I went to the right people for help! It was no problem for Kal and Ann! They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. You won’t be a “just another customer” ~~ You’ll be a FRIEND!“

We got here 3:15 on a Thursday, totally chill, parked right out front.

We had: bloody mary's, the burger is excellant, salmon dip is very tasty, the fried pickles are spears & lightly breaded. Moving on to the spicy margarita & ranch water.
The patio seating in the afternoon is shaded by the building.

“This review is for the Royal Oak Roast only. The road is full of as*holes , the world going to sh*t more and more. The people in charge care not at all and we are on a very possible path to doom. Why not stop in at Royal Oak Roast? It’s a comfy place with great people watching. The coffee is wonderful and refills are a dollar. So many different coffee choices in all styles, including espresso over over Weiss vanilla ice cream!!! The kitchen, yes I said kitchen has scrumptious food that is presented beautifully with the seasonal selections. All this sound good? Well that’s not even the best part. It’s the staff. It’s a varied collection of kind, hard working people that make you feel welcomed and are always working hard to get your order out to you. The young woman working the drive thru, sat there a good 5 minutes helping me figure out what to get and figure out exactly what I was looking for. When I thought J was taking to long at the window and tried to rush to pay, she stopped me and insisted I get the app out so I could get the pints. The other woman working with her then showed me the sizes as I explained I hadn’t been to Smoothie King in a while and wanted me to know the sizes so I know for next time.
