The brisket tacos - Braised & Confused just overjoyed my taste buds. The pork taco -Korean Bbq was great. Fun place. Enjoyed some house margaritas and chips with guacamole dip. “At a recent family birthday celebration, I needed appetizers at the last minute. I went to the right people for help! It was no problem for Kal and Ann! They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. “we came in yesterday for a little family dinner. Danny, our server, was newly back to work at Pronto and I've never seen a server work so hard to accommodate people and ensure we were well cared for. the entire staff and clientele were so kind and encouraging. I spent most of the meal examining the lighting fixtures (there are so many!!!), and our family searched for disco balls (also SO MANY!). The food was amazing and the service was fast. we took our 14 year old there for dinner because they needed to see that there are safe, public spaces for them - and the awe and amazement in their eyes the whole time told me that we found our new "regular" spot. the music was fun, the service was spectacular, and the entire vibe was just lovely. and as a lighting nerd, they play with light beautifully, even during a routine dinner service. to the staff at Pronto - particularly Danny - thank you. as a mom trying to figure out how to best parent a child who isn't like me, you gave me immeasurable gifts last night. you gave my child hope for a future as an adult. we love the local youth programming available but it lacks a connection to adults who are thriving and living full, beautiful lives. seeing that in action was everything our kid needed and so much more. thank you.“

“Stopped in at Rocking Brews after catching a show at the Royal Oak Music Theatre, and I have to say, I was absolutely blown away by this place!

The first thing that hits you is the sheer amount of rock memorabilia everywhere. Whether it's authentic pieces or reproductions, it doesn't really matter because the entire place is just incredible to look at. There's so much going on visually that you could probably spend hours just checking everything out.

Everyone working there was super friendly. We hung out on the main floor for a little while before making our way upstairs to the second floor, where a live cover band was playing. And WOW, these guys were absolutely amazing! The crowd was completely into it, too. People weren't just hanging out with music playing in the background. They were actually watching and enjoying the band like they were at a full-blown rock concert. The energy was fantastic!

After the band wrapped up, things eventually quieted down a bit, and they switched over to a DJ to close out the night. It was a great transition because we were able to grab some drinks, hang out, and actually have conversations with friends without having to yell over the music.

The beers were solid, and the entire atmosphere was just a great experience from beginning to end.

Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to try the food this time around, and we never made it up to the third-floor balcony area. But to be fair, we were having such a great time where we were that we didn't feel like we were missing anything!

If I had to point out one negative, it would be the flooring. For such a brand-new establishment, I was surprised to see what looked like some pretty significant damage to portions of the floor, almost like water damage. Kind of strange for a place this new, but I'm sure it's something they'll eventually get sorted out.

Overall, what an awesome addition to Royal Oak! Great atmosphere, friendly people, solid beers, incredible memorabilia, and some seriously good live entertainment. I honestly can't wait to come back, explore the rest of the place, and finally give the food a try.

The reason why I took a star off was they were rather picked over on day I shot the video of the entrees. Too many empty spaces, and it's not the first time either.
